{} Aria's POV {}

Its day four, the past two days sorta went by slowly. After I basically spent the entire day with Chihiro, we've became close. I spent some time with Makoto yesterday after running into him in the morning. Before hanging out with Junko cause she was bored and wanted someone to talk to, though she practically dragged me with her the rest of the day. Whatever time I had to myself, I used to explore every nook and cranny of the floor available to us. Even if its pointless, I refuse to give up.

"Okay, so... nobody has any clues?" Leon's voice penetrated my thoughts. Oops, I zoned out on our first morning meeting Taka set up. I really need to stop getting so lost in my thoughts.

"One thing I can tell you is who's behind all this. Someone who's totally weird and messed up." Hina angrily stated, palms down on the table. "Why else would we be trapped in here in the first place?"

Leon let out a puff of air as he ran a hand through his dyed fiery, orange-red hair. "Well, sure, it could be something like that. But for right now, actual clues are.."

"U-Umm..." Chihiro interrupted, she looked distressed. Her eyes looked a bit watery.

"Huh? What's up?" Leon looked at her questioningly.

"If you think in terms of people who are really abnormal or bizarre..." Chihiro began, fiddling with the loose bow tied on the front of her collar. "Do you think maybe the person responsible for all this could be a certain murderous fiend?" Murderous fiend?

Makoto looked at Chihiro with a lost expression that probably matched my own. "A murderous fiend? Chihiro, do you have some idea who might be behind all this?"

"Well..." Her eyes darted around, glancing at everyone's expectant faces. "Maybe, I mean, I can't really be certain but..."

Taka suddenly pointed at Chihiro, his voice as loud as ever. "Certainty is not a concern right now! I'll allow whatever remarks you may have!"

"O-Okay, well. Have you heard of Genocide Jack?" She asked, searching the faces around her for signs of recognition.

"Genocide Jack?" I repeated with a questioning tilt of my head. I didn't have to wait long for an answer.

"You mean that serial killer that's been in the news and all over the Internet?" Makoto's eyes widened to the size of saucers.

"The monstrous villain who's murdered scored of victims in brutally bizarre fashion." Byakuya began to casually explain, as if he was talking to a group of five year-olds. "The word "bloodlust" was left at each murder scene, written in the victim's own blood. Whoever it is, he's a ghost. He strikes without warning, and disappears without a trace. And on the Internet, they started calling him... Genocide Jack. That about covers it, I think."

"They say he's claimed over a thousand victims." Hiro added, looking uneasy. T-That can't be true can it?! My eyes widen in horror at this new information.

"That's just an urban legend though, right?" Junko butted in, though it looked like she was trying to convince herself this fact. "I mean even like, ten people would be totally insane."

I noticed that Toko is biting her lip and sweating profusely until my attention was directed back to Chihiro speaking. "Anyway, whoever Genocide Jack really is, he's obviously some kind of super crazy killer."

Mondo grinded his teeth. "And if he really is this 'ultimate' psycho, I wouldn't be surprised if he put together something like this." That's a scary thought, but... I played with my silver flame pendant for a moment. Could it really be true?
