Alexander's Point Of View
I wander down the halls, holding the remains of my coffee. I stop.
Angelica Schuyler.
The school's badass. She's got James Reynolds by the throat against a wall.
"Don't you dare touch Maria again. Got it? Next time, it won't be me here, it'll be Peggy. And you don't want an angry Peggy." Her voice was hot. Not that I'm into her. I'm not really into her type.As she lets Reynolds down, I hurry over, my phone in my head.
"Hey, Angelica. You comin' to the party tonight?" I ask, and she flicks her hair from her eyes. I see Eliza, her sister, standing behind her awkwardly.
"Yeah, we are. You?" Angelica asks, her eyes hopeful. I nod.
"Mhm. Laurens and I are going together." Her face drops. I know she likes me, but I don't... I don't like her.We spend a little bit talking. Eliza started talking as well, and the time passed quickly. Before I knew it, we had to go home and get ready.
~
I walk into my dorm, and see Jefferson already getting ready.
"You're going as a skeleton? James got a thing for the undead?" I sneer as Jefferson paints white on his face. The party tonight is a Halloween party that Mister Washington, the councillor, put together for us to 'get to know each other and make friends'. We're adults, not children. We don't need that sort of help.Jefferson's glare is harder than ever,
"No. He doesn't. At least I've got a costume. The party's in a hour, why aren't you ready?" He snaps, and I shrug, not even answering him as I walk into the bathroom.Mulligan's Point Of View
Peggy twirls, her dress swirling around her. The black silk of her dress blends well with the deep purple.
"Herc, you have to help me with my hair! I can't do it the right way." She yelps, and I laugh. Taking her hand, I pull her to the bed gently, and she sits on the ground.
"Hold on, one sec." I hop up, grabbing a curler. Plugging it in, I sit down and begin with her hair.~
"I can't find my broom!"
I spin around, buttoning my jacket up. I lean behind the door of the bathroom and pull out Peggy's broom and hand it to her.
"You make a beautiful witch, Peggy." I whisper as she takes it. She pulls herself away from me, and she laughs,
"Well, your highness, you make a damn good prince."I look in a mirror as Peggy sits on her bed. My outfit looks pretty okay. We still have an hour, so I sit next to her and we just chat.
Lafayette's Point Of View
I help George finish his crown, then watch as he puts it on. I turn back to the mirror,
"Mon'ami, are you sure I look okay?" I query, looking at my red outfit. I had red horns on my head. I'm the devil, apparently. George helped me pick it out this morning.
"Yes, you French boy. A French devil is wonderful. An English king is even better. Seabury and I are going to look so great!" His accent is annoying, but I just don't like English people very much.I look at my phone, checking for messages.
No New Messages
I sigh. I'm glad Peggy was home with Herc today. I don't want him feeling lonely.
George sits on the bed, pulling the uncomfortable heels onto his feet.
"Do you really need them, George?" I ask, mostly out of concern. George nods,
"Yes. Or, in your language, oui. Do you understand now?" I nod, a soft glare headed his way.I grab my diary and start writing, I mean, we do still have an hour to get ready.
Seabury's Point Of View
"Maria, shut up! I honestly I don't care." I yell. It's not long before I feel the girl grip my hair and pull me close to her,
"I swear to god, Seabury, you have to help me or I'm going to cry. Are my teeth moulded properly or not?" She yells into my ear. I whimper, and push her away,
"Yes! Yes, your teeth are fine! You're fine! Okay? Just don't do that again." I yelp, trying to make her calm down. Maria nods, patting my head, and turning back to the mirror, talking about how she needs to get her hair right. Girls...I loosely pull on my costume; just some rags, really. It's comfortable and okay-looking. George is going as a king, and I'm his servant. It'll be so fun!
"So, Sam. Did you and George have a good time this morning?"
I look up. Maria looks beautiful, to say the least. Her face looks expectant, and my face heats up.
"I'm sure I don't know what you mean..."Maria rolls her eyes, and goes back to fixing her hair. At least I didn't have to get into what George and I did today. It doesn't matter. I just sink into my chair and begin texting again.
Madison's Point Of View
The helmet is tight. I attempt to take it off, but it doesn't.
"John! John, help!" I call, hoping he hears me. It's only moments until I feel two hands on shoulders,
"Are you okay, James? What's up?" John's voice is very familiar. I shyly look down, before realising that he can't see me. I fix myself up quickly,
"I can't get my helmet off. It's really stuffy in here, and I kinda want it off." I explain quickly. I hear John laugh, and he grabs the top. I instantly know what he means, and being to push the bottom of the helmet as he pulls the top.It takes a few attempts, but we get it off. I hug him the second I can see. John pats my back, then pushes me away gently.
"I think you need a bigger helmet. And one where you can see." He laughs, and I nod, laughing too. I take the helmet and untighten it. Once I find the right size – John had to help me get it off once or twice again – I take the eyeholes out. I look into the mirror with the helmet on. A Stormtrooper. I love my costume.Laurens pats his shoulder, where a fake bird sits.
"Yo, you like my pirate costume?" He asks, pushing his ponytail from his shoulder. I smile, nodding,
"It's awesome, John. The parrot looks wonderful, and your hair fits perfectly. Honestly-"
"Chill, James."
"Right."I take a breath, nodding. I'll be okay once I've settled down, but I'm not feeling very settled down. John takes me by the shoulders, sitting me on the couch and he holds me there, trying to calm me down.
Lee's Point Of View
My music plays, not too loud, and not too quiet. Burr's dressing up as his favourite Broadway character, Leslie Odom Jr. I, however, am dressing up as the one and only Gerard Way. I gel my hair so it stays out of my face. The red dye I put in is staying really well, to my surprise.
I pull on my suit-like costume – not an actual suit, but not a complete costume, either, you get me? – and watch as Burr pulls on a white suit.
"Why are you looking at me? I'm changing. That's.. weird." I glance at Burr's face, then turn around.
"Sorry, Aaron. Are you ready? We're going to have to head out soon." The grunt means that he's nearly ready.Third Person Point Of View
People turn up in pairs or groups. The music isn't counted as spooky, but popular and loud. The chatter rings out as the newest arrivals start to reach the gym.
The Halloween party was in action.

HALLOWEEN!!!
Basically the entire time I was writing this, I was singing 'Halloween' (Be More Chill).
I hope y'all like the costumes so far. You don't know what Hamilton, Angelica and Eliza dress up as yet because I couldn't fit it in. Sorry y'all.
Don't think there's anything to be sorry about, there's not much sad stuff going on here. John and James are such best friends. If you don't think they are meant to be best (gay) friends, then get over it. I like that kind of thing, and I'm writing it so..
However, in saying that, I'll take feedback as to who you think should become best friends (who already aren't).
Hot chocolate donuts.
Me, out.Ps. Don't even ask.
