Burr's Point Of View
We sit at the table in the bar. Their voices are louder than normal.
"Guys! We aren't going to be able to do anything if you all just sit there yelling! We need a real plan!" Angelica shouts over the top, silencing the group.
"What's one thing he hates more than anything?" We all look at Eliza, who's holding hands with Eacker. I don't understand.
"Lee." I hear about four people say. I whip my head up towards Alexander. He shrugs, showing me he doesn't know why she asked either.
"Right. So what if we started a rumour that Lee started talking about Mister Washington and Alexander? That'll get him out." She continues. I stand,
"No! That could get him hurt!" Theo and Alex give me the look, reminding me that our relationship is secret. Shit! I have to find a reason for caring now."Why do you care if he gets hurt, Burr?" I look at Jefferson, rolling my eyes,
"Well, if that's the case, why don't we just put Alex out on a limb and say he started talking about Washington?" I know the reaction I'll get.
"No way, Burr!" Jefferson pipes up. I glare at him, and he nods knowingly. It's not the same reason, but it's relatively similar reason as to why we won't let either of them get hurt."Why don't we just stick to Lee? It'll work." Angelica says, calming us down again. Theo smiles at her. There really is love between those two. I can't disagree to the Lee plan, but I can silently wish it was different.
James' Point Of View
"Where the fuck is he?"
I spin around to see John fuming. I bite my lip. How did I know this plan would work? I really hope it all ends okay.
"He's... he's in the hall." I say, and follow him as he leaves. And, I was right, Lee was right there. I can see Burr as well.
John runs up, grabbing Lee by the throat. Burr's expression has gone from worried to freaking out.
"How fucking dare you? He has done so much for you and you decide it's okay to start spreading rumours? And what has Alex done to you, huh?" He yells. Lee's face starts going red, and it's now I know we have to do something, or John will kill him.
Nevermind. In seconds, Lee's on the ground, and John is laying punches into him. This is stupid! Charles tries to move, but he's overpowered. His face is covered in blood.
"Stop it! John, get off him! It was just us trying to get you out! Please!!" Burr cries. I can see the tears in his eyes, and squint. Why is he crying?
Not my business. I don't do anything; I know John could overpower me easily. I watch in awe as Burr pushes John off Lee, pushing him against the wall,
"He didn't say anything about Mister Washington or Alexander! It was just us messing around."John's face is... I don't know how to explain it. He looks at Lee, and then at me, shaking his head. I nod, moving closer to him. He almost falls into my arms, which nearly knocks me off my feet, but I stay standing. I smile at Burr, who waves slightly. He rushes to Lee, and I walk John back to the dorm. He immediately falls on his bed, and I hear sniffles.
He's not sad anymore. He's in serious need of help. But, I can't do anything. I would, seriously. But he'd just act as if he's alright.
What's going on with him?
Burr's Point Of View
I drive towards the ER. Lee's face is covered in blood, and he's unconscious. I knew this was a stupid plan, from the start. I park, quickly picking him up and taking him inside.
"Can we get a doctor, please?" I ask politely as I approach the counter. The secretary takes one look at Lee, a horrified look on her face, and nods. It hits me. They're going to ask what happened. I... I have to lie.
A stretcher takes him away, and I sit down, fighting the urge to follow.
It's only minutes before someone emerges, walking right towards me.
"What happened?"
"He fell off his bike."
"Are you family?" I bite my lip, shaking my head.
"Just a friend." They nod,
"Any family close by we can call?" I try to keep calm,
"No. Is he okay?" They nod, handing me a paper. I read over it. Mild concussion, broken nose, a few lost teeth. But, overall, he's alright. They keep talking, but I ignore them. It's not important. He's okay, that's what's important. When they finally finish speaking, I get up, heading towards his room. I open the door, and smile. He's sitting up, reading. He looks up, and beams,
"Aaron!" I go inside, sitting next to him. I really hope he truly is okay-Oh. I understand how Alexander felt last week. He must have been terrified. I thought he was being over-reactive, but now I understand.
I plant a kiss on his cheek,
"That was dangerous. He could have killed you." Charles chuckles,
"Maybe. That guy is crazy when he wants to be. But, I agreed to it. I knew the risks." I look down. He did know the risks, but he still did it. Why? He doesn't like John. He hates him more than anything. The two are the biggest enemies possible. They once spent a night in the same room. Charles came out with a broken nose and few missing teeth. John came out with a broken arm. We never put them together again."Why did you agree to it?" I see his face. It's not nervous, but caring,
"Alexander cares about him, and you care about Alexander. If anything happens to Laurens, then your life will go to hell."I smile.
"This is why you're the best." I kiss him on the lips, and he kisses back, before I pull back. I sit on the seat next to him. This is going to be a long night.-=-
Oh no, Lee actually cared. The whole world is breaking.
