How do you make a guy forgive you because you made a mistake and he's pissed about it? I really need an advice right now regarding with that. I've been tailing Kernel since this morning, and even just a look he won't give me! I keep saying sorry about yesterday, that I really didn't intend to kill the guy. But he never listens, just like how he never listens to voice of my heart who's shouting his name.

We made a turn to the right. Oh I know where he's going, to the place where my rival works. Mamie's Diner. As soon as we entered we saw Julius and Jasmine sitting in a table near the window. Julius and Jasmine Ealdwine, siblings we met four months ago. Julius is nineteen while Jasmine's seventeen. Julius has a set of sleepy-looking eyes, dark brows, messy brown hair, pale skin and sharp jaw line. Jasmine has deep-intoxicating eyes, long wavy brown hair tied up in a messy ponytail, pale skin and fine-drooping lips.

Jasmine works in this diner, and my rival. Kernel got his eyes on her, and I totally hate it. Julius works part time every night in a convenience store which is few blocks away from their house. We've met their mother, Aria, who's working as a tourist guide. We became friends with this two because of this strange case in their family.

They kept on saying that their family was cursed. Their father passed away sixteen years ago and their older brother, Joseph, died also two years ago. They said that this case kept on happening from the past generations of their family. The father dies and followed by the eldest child. These kids wanted answers, if it's curse or just mere coincidence.

"Hey guys. How's your trip?" Julius asked.

They never knew who we really are and what our mission in this world is. All they know is we're just some random strangers who pays a visit to our hometown. And every time Kernel and I goes on a mission all this two know is where just going to visit another tourist spot in this town.

"Mesmerize by the place we just visited." I replied.

Kernel sat beside Julius, and since I have no choice, I sat beside Jasmine. Damn it.

"So what are you two talking about?" I asked.

Julius clasp his hands and said, "Well, our mom told us to pay a visit to our Grandma in the countryside. And we're planning to tag you along." He paused.

"And I was hoping we could get answers when we got there." He continued in a soft voice.

"From your Grandmother." I said and he nods.

"So you two are going?" Kernel asked.

It's obvious that he was making sure that Jasmine is coming too. Stupid corn.

"I have no choice." Jasmine replied with a shrug.

So she's going and I can see stars in Kernel's eyes. Stupid corn. Kernel cleared his throat.

"We can't give our answers yet. When will you leave?" Kernel said. Did he just say we? Gosh, I'm feeling hot right now.

"We're planning to leave Friday next week and be staying there for two days." Julius replied.

"We will let you know if we made up our minds." I said. Damn, I'm so cool.

I looked at Jasmine and said, "Can you grab us some foods?" Jasmine rolled her eyes.

"She's off duty." Kernel protested. Not talking to you stupid corn!

"Whatever folks." Jasmine replied dryly and stood up.
