I tooK (y/n) out to my car. I opened the door for her and let her climb into the passenger seat.
"Shawn, I know we just admitted we had feelings for each other, but I don't think I'm ready for another relationship quite yet. I know you will hate me for this. Can we just be best friends for now? I'm sorry." She said once I started the car.
My heart dropped but I couldn't let her see. I was trying to think of something to say.
"(Y/n, I won't blame you. I totally get it. For now we can be best friends. Hopefully someday we can be more."
Seriously. That's all you could say!? You just blew it. I thought to myself.
"I really want to be more than friends Shawn. I just need some time to think this situation over. For now let's get this off our minds and go have some fun!"
