That night my parents were supposed to be out if town. That means shawn could come over. All I had to do was ask him. He had gone over to the side of the pond to check his phone. You decided you were gonna get him. You went over to Jack informed him of your plan.
"Oh my gosh!" Jack yelled. you had been hiding up in a tree.
Shawn turned around.
"What are you talking about? Where did (y/n) go?"
"She said you were ignoring her so she left back to the beach. You wouldn't believe this though, I just saw her kissing some other dude down there" jack said pointing to the beach.
"What!?" Shawn yelled. He ran over to the edge of the cliff. Now was my chance. You weren't very high up so I dropped down on him, pushing him back into the pond. He grabbed my face and kissed me underwater. It was like all of those perfect pictures. We went back to the surface and he grabbed me like a sack of potatoes.
"Ah shawn let go!" I was yelling pounding on his back.
"No I'm gonna teach you a lesson."
He tossed me under the water and kissed me again. I came back up to breath.
"Shawn, my parents aren't gonna be home tonight wanna come over?"
"Yeah that sounds great. But first lets go to the store and buy a whole bunch of food. We can make dinner and then dessert together!"
"Sounds like a plan."
"Hey what about me?" Jack asked.
"Sorry Jack couples only." shawn said with a smirk.
You jokingly punched shawn in the arm.
"That was rude! apologize!"
"Sorry Jack not tonight." you say kind of laughing.
He smiled. You still were thinking in the back of your mind how he liked you. But you liked shawn. The feelings weren't mutual. But he was still one of your best friends and you didn't want it to be awkward so you just decided to brush it off.
