You got lost lost in his eyes and totally zoned him out. You weren't listening to what he was saying.
"You know what (y/n)? I'm sorry I said that I knew you would never feel the same."
"Wait, what?" You quickly said back, feeling bad and confused at what he was talking about.
"(Y/n) I said I have had special feelings for you ever since 7th grade. I knew you always liked Brayden so I thought I would never have a chance with you."
Your jaw literally dropped to the floor.
"Uh...um...shawn" you managed to stutter out.
"Look, (y/n) I'm sorry I ever said that. It probably just ruined our friendship. You know what now that I think about it I have to go. Let me take you home.
"No wait listen shawn...the truth is that I feel the same way towards you. I was afraid to show it because our friendship means the world to me." You smiled.
"Well if you're gonna say that I guess I can hang out for a little longer," he smirked grabbing your hand and taking you out to his car.
