17-year-old Adalyn Keller sits on her bed in her empty dormitory. The rest of the school is off on another bible retreat. And due to her behavior, she was left behind. But she didn't really care all that much. She checked her watch, her right leg bouncing impatiently, and sighed softly. Late again. She thought. Suddenly she hears a small object collide with her window. Then a second. Then a third. Adalyn's lips curled up into an excited smile. She grabbed her jacket before she made her way to the window. She lifts it open with a small squeak. She leans out the window looking down at the person who's responsible for the many chips in her window.

    "You're late," Adalyn pointed out.

    "Hey. At least I'm here."

Samuel Morgan. An 18-year-old orphan that Adalyn met while they both were ditching a retreat from years ago. The two teens hit it off almost immediately. They have been stuck together like glue ever since.

Adalyn chuckled and began climbing out the window. She grasps the window sill and shimmies to the side to grab the drainpipe that runs all the way down to the street below.

"if you fall at least make it funny," Sam joked

"Haha. You're hilarious." Adalyn replied sarcastically, causing Sam to chuckle. Adalyn slowly climbed down the pipe and finally made it all the way down.

Sam began to clap his hands and stride over to Adalyn.

"Thank you, thank you," Adalyn exclaimed as she took a dramatic bow, "I'm here all week!"

"Shut up and come here..." Sam chuckled before grabbing Adalyn's waist and pulling her into a kiss.

Adalyn draped her arms over his shoulders smiling into the kiss. She pulled away, still keeping their faces close together.

"You do realize that if I keep sneaking out like this, I will eventually get caught?" Adalyn whispers.

    "So?" Sam teased.

"So I'll get kicked out!" Adalyn laughed as she hit him playfully in his chest.

"I mean. You don't technically have much longer left in this place..." he began, "plus. If you do get kicked out, you can come to move in with me early."

"Oh yeah?" Adalyn said, unable to keep a smile from forming on her face. "You think we'd survive?"

"Hell yeah!" Sam exclaimed, holding her a little tighter. "If that's something you want."

Adalyn smiled adoringly and placed a hand on Sam's cheek. "Of course, that's what I want."

"Good," Sam said before pecking a kiss on Adalyn's lips, "now come on. I wanna take you somewhere," Sam stated as he grabbed Adalyn's hand and started dragging her behind him causing a surprised laugh to escape from her.

"What are we walking the whole way?" Adalyn questioned.

"Who said anything about walking?" Sam said before the couple turned the corner, and right in front of them sat two motorcycles.

Adalyn stared wide-eyed at the two bikes sitting right in front of them, "Sam you didn't"

"Happy birthday," Sam cooed. "The blue one is yours,"

"This is just a rental isn't it?" Adalyn questioned as she slowly walked toward them.

"Nope. she's all yours," Sam smiled before walking over to the bikes and leaning against his own.

Adalyn didn't know what else to do but hug him. "Thank you so much!"

"Of course, darlin'." Sam chuckled before pulling away, "Well let's not just sit here and stare at em'! Let's take these babies out for a spin!"
