"Dude you should have started dating Victor weeks ago, I've never had such good seats at a game"
"We're not dating Pichit" I clarify as we shuffle down the very first row of seats at the field, right infront of it, the section reserved for players families and teaching staff.
When we sit I end up between Pichit who's dressed head to toe in blue and black and JJ'S father. It's a little akward. A little.
"When are you gonna tie the knot then?" He asks a little too loud; JJ'S parents and even Celestino who's sitting three seats away looks at us weird.
"I don't know. When it feels right" I shrug, watching as blue seats all around the stadium become occupied by Hasetsu fans in black and blue and the red and black of the Iron Soldiers. Personally I think Marvel should sue them. With regards to Victor and I, it's been a week since I blew up in Carsons face and everybody thinks we're dating anyway. It's not that which has prepared me but it's the fact that I feel ready, I feel ready to officially date Victor, that actually happening will fall into place eventually. There's no rush. What we feel for eachother isn't determined by a title, it's the way everything he does makes me smile or blush, the way I don't want to be appart from him, the way he's ditched his friends to hang out with my friends and I at lunch.
"Ugh. Hey, where's your face paint?" I look down at my Hasetsu tracksuit, asuming that would be enough. Apparently not according to Pichits judging eyes. In seconds he whips out two small tins and opens them; dipping in to create the same marks he has on his face; one blue line on each cheek and one black just under.
"Beautiful. That's how you represent" he adjusts his electric blue Hasetsu cap and winks my way. I roll my eyes.
Twenty minutes later the entire stadium is filled, Pichit has his skyscraper popcorn and the music is just starting up, a hint of Shoot To Thrill by ACDC.
"Yuuri did you bribe the DJ?" Pichit teases, and it's not that that has me doubled over laughing; it's the fact that I may have mentioned that Victor change the teams theme to this. As a joke. I never thought he'd take it seriously.
I don't have time to fill in a confused Pichit before the announcer interrupts;
"Hello everybody! Welcome to the game! Are we pumped today?" Yukos voice booms through the speakers, loud and excited as usual.
The whole stadium rips with whoops and cheers, even I join in, to get my blood pumping.
"Awsome! Now get ready for the home team! Hasetsu!" She fades away and ACDC gets louder, ear shattering loud, just how I like it.
The chearleaders run out first, showing off their moves as they take their places off to the side of the field. Sara runs at the back, carrying the huge Hasetsu flag. We're all making a crazy amount of noise as the players run out, lead by Yakov who looks red in the face from the strain.
"Here we have them! The dream team!" Yuko chirps but I don't have eyes for the general team, I have eyes for the man behind Yakov, waving with a blinding smile on his face, looking brighter than the sun like he always does.
"We're happy to announce that Emil has returned from his injury and is ready to kick ass!" I take a moment to glance at the colossal screen overhead to see a close up of Emil running next to Mickey, looking very pleased. The poor guy was in such a hump when he fractured his knee.
