This is practically an OVA of Unexpected. It's also soggy trash.

"What sort of things are we looking for?" I murmur, scanning the iles in the grocery store as Victor taps on his phone by my side. At a glance it looks a lot like a hectic groupchat.
"I need cheese for macaroni... and I'll make a curry... some potato would be good too. And vegetable. I don't know what to do for dessert..." I'm content watching his gears turn as he looks at the produce around him.
"What do you usually do?" I lean heavily on the carts handle and roll on the balls of my feet.
"Apple pie or Victoria sponge cake. What's your favourate dessert?" He pockets his phone even though it keeps vibrating with messages and gives me all his attention.
"Does my opinion matter? I'm not eating any of it. No offence" his face falls, he tries to hide it but it does. And it makes me feel so bad.
"I understand. I want to know though" he leads us into the dairy ile, looking at the different cheeses.
"I had a bad obsession with cheese cake" I lament at at the cheeses, all stacked uniformly, listening to my woes. It's hard to believe the change, back then I never could have imagined being able to deny a cheesecake. Now I do so without batting an eye.
"I love making that! It's been a long time, I'm doing it" Victor claps his hands together, grinning, eyes sparking. Suddenly I feel so much worse about not wanting to eat it.
Only Victor. Only Victor could make me feel bad about not eating something instead of feeling bad for actually eating.
"I'll try to eat some if there's any leftovers"
"Really!? Oh I love you Yuuri!" He throws his arms around me, kissing the side of my face relentlessly. It makes the decision worth it, even if I'm dreading it.
"Yea, yea, will you just pick some cheese?" He nods and chucks some packs into the cart before linking arms with me and aquiring more dairy produce.
"Do you cook at all Yuuri?" He asks as we move on to the meat fridges. I did not dress for them at all, a Harry Potter t-shirt doesn't have the power to keep me warm unfortunately.
"God, I used to, so much, Carson was a big fan, ask him about my cooking and he won't shut up for hours" I laugh at the memory, looking for meat that's not absolutely covered in white fat.
"Yuuri?" When I look back at Victor he seems confused, concerned.
"Hm?"
"Nothing" he smiles, picking up some red meat and showing it to me for approval, I nod and he chucks it in the cart.
"Man I should have brought a coat" my skin prickles with goosebumps as we cruise down the evil ile.
"Why have a coat when you have a Victor?" He comes up behind me and grabs onto the cart, esencially wrapping me in his warm body. It does earn us a weird look by some fat old guy but for warmth and Victor I'm willing to overlook it. It's a wonderful feeling, the sensation of his breath on my nape, the heat of his arms transferring into mine, his complete intrusion of my space.
"I didn't know I was dating a jacket" I chuckle, hooking my thumbs in his pinkies as we go to the fresh produce.
"I can be anything you want me to be" he purrs into my ear. It does nothing to me. Nothing at all. It doesn't spark my spine or make me blush, not at all.
