First Day

I stand in front of the mirror fixing my hair and outfit.

"First day of work, Ji Yeon, You gotta focus, your job is your life, all the hard work you did through the past 20 years were to just get this job, you have got to do well.First impressions are important too."My best friend, Eun Ji , lectured me.

"Yeah..."I answer.

"You need to tie up your hair, you cant work with hair in your face, it is gonna be irritating..."
She says it loud enough for me to hear it, knowing that i was ignoring her.

"Whatever.I look better like that, so I'll stay like that."I answer with a bit of confidence that I knew I'm gonna lose when I step into the company's huge doors.

"As you wish, just don't come to me crying if anything bad happens..."She says as she leaves the room."I'm gonna go get something to eat..."
"Okay..."I stare at myself in the mirror.

Pretty.

I get my bag and stuff prepared, and i head downstairs for breakfast.

"Euni?.."I call out for my bestie, but she doesn't answer.

Could be stuck in the fridge, huh.

"Come out."I call for her again.

[Murmuring voices]

"Hmm?.."

I step closer to the source of the sound.

This is scaring me.Really.

"Hello?..."

"BOO!!!"

I jump high in shock and yell louder than i ever did.
"What the hell was that about?"

I stare at the little cutie who has tried to scare me. It was my little brother Ji Hwan.

"Heheheh"he giggles altogether with Eun ji.

Silly boy. I swear to god...

He hugs me tightly with his tiny arms.He is only a six Y/O after all.

I hug him back.

"Ayeee cute..."I say to myself.

"Ah, Yeoni!You are gonna be late.Aren't you supposed to be their by 7:15? It is 6:45 already."

"oh shit."I get up and get my phone to call my boyfriend,Jung soo.

"Hello.."the voice on the other end speaks.

"Hey bae.Can you come and pick me up real quick, im gonna be late."

"Who is this?.."

"What do you mean by who is this?It is your girlfriend, Ji Yeon."

Is that some kind of silly joke?

"You know Jung soo? Cause i think you've got the wrong number..."

" Yes I know Jung soo, he is my boyfriend."I finally get her to shut up so I can ask my question."May I know,  who are you?"

"I'm his GIRLFRIEND."The way she said girlfriend kicked my soul out of my body.

"W-What?No,no you are lying, im sure He  can NEVER cheat on me..."

"What do you mean by cheat on you? He was cheating on me.He has dated you for a year, he had been dating me for three"

"THREE?..."

I was heartbroken.She was lying , I'm sure she is, she has to, she must be lying, or else......
