People often described Derry as scary. The minute you drive through Derry it goes cold, dull and something is very off with it. Almost grey. The people of Derry never really liked to talk about the history of the place knowing it was probably best to keep it quiet. A lot of crimes went off in Derry which adults decided not to talk about, hoping that they would never have to face whatever it was that was making this all happen. Derry was full of mysteries that no one dared to work out, in hopes that it will all work out.

Late 1988 is when these mysteries came back to light again...

'Hey Billy Bob.' I teased and walked into Bill's room

He playfully rolled his eyes 'Y-you know I h-hate that.' he mumbled

'yeah well that's your name now, how you feeling?' I asked

He shrugged 'I think I'm d-dying.'

I rolled my eyes 'So dramatic, it's just a cold.'

'y-you don't know.'

'Neither do you.' I mocked

Our conversation got interrupted when we heard someone running in

'Y/n!' Georgie came in sight and jumped on the bed, growing up Bills family was more of a family to me than my own. When me and Bill met we clicked straight away making us friends instantly and i saw Bill and Georgie like my brothers more than anything.

'Hey buddy.' I smiled and messed his hair up

'Will you play? Billy is too sick.' He sighed

'yeah im sure he is.' I smirked over at Bill. 'Of course ill play.'

He grinned and grabbed his Lego

'So, what do you want to make kiddo?' I asked

'A turtle!' he said and grabbed all the pieces

I smiled as the little boy started putting the turtle together, he was always so happy when he was around Billy. They had such a cute relationship which only left me with envy for a relationship like theirs.

'Done!' he said and pulled up a turtle made from Lego 'Look Billy!'

Billy cracked out a smile 't-that's pretty good g-Georgie.' He said

Billy has had a stutter since he was little. His family has tried to make him stop, but no matter how hard he tried he still had his stutter. His friends always tried to remind him he wouldn't be Billy without his stutter its who he is.

'Billy can we take a paper boat out?' Georgie asked

'N-not today. T-there isn't any rain.' Billy said

'Mum said there will be tomorrow.' he said

'T-tomorrow then.' billy smiled

Georgie grinned and grabbed his turtle 'Thank you y/n.' He hugged me and left the room

'You two are sweet.' I said

Billy rolled his eyes 'Y-you always say this.'

'It's true.' I smiled 'Makes me want a little brother.'

'G-Georgie can be.'

I smiled, ever since I moved to Derry, Billy's family has been like my own. My dad is always in his own little world since my mum passed away so he didn't even notice me. She passed away when I was 10 which hit the family hard. We didn't really see it coming and she was always the laugh in the house, making us all smile. This is one of the many reasons why I spend my time over at Billy's, as an escape and because I feel wanted around here

'I better head home, see you tomorrow at school!' I said, hugging Bill one last time before riding home

i wrote this a few months back, so the fan fiction is complete on my laptop i just need to edit the parts etc, so i will update this often! Eddie comes into it next part :)
