'So a leaper chased you?' I asked

He nodded, starting to panic again, grabbing for his aspirator once more

'I know you probably don't believe me, but then there was this clown, he had all these balloons. H-he wanted me to float?' he said

'I believe you Eds, I do. In fact, I just saw something too...' I said

He looked at me 'what did you see?'

'my mum.' I said

'Your mum?' he gave me a confused look

'She died when I was 10, that's how I know it's completely crazy how I saw her.'

'im sorry y/n I didn't know.' he said

'No worries Eds, but why did we both see things that are impossible to see? Not to mention that clown you saw. There's something going on Eddie.'

His watch started to bleep

'Shit! I got to go, my mum is going to be worrying!' He stood up 'Maybe we can just keep it between us both for now?'

I agreed 'want me to give you a ride?'

'oh no, that's fine.'

'Eddie, you live a few blocks away you're going to be even more late if you don't accept.' I said

He sighed 'Fine.'

His face turned a pinkish colour

I got on my bike, giving him room to het on the back

He walked over and hesitated

'Come on, I don't bite.' I laughed

He nodded sheepishly, getting on the back

'Hold on, ill going to ride fast so you're not late'

He put his hands on my waist, with hardly any grip but I wasn't going to force him

I started to pedal fast, making Eddie let out a scream

He wrapped his arms around my waist so tight, making me laugh

'Told you to hold on!' I said, I could tell he was blushing

The next day, I got a call from Bill saying Beverly had something she wanted to show us

I headed down to her house to see the guys already there

'Hey' I said, 'Everything okay?'

Beverly ran down the stairs and stopped

'You made it, i-I need to show you something.' She said

'what is it?' Ben asked

'More than we saw at the Quarry?' Richie said

I lightly hit his arm

'shut up! Shut up Richie' Eddie exclaimed

'My dad would kill me if he finds out that I had boys in the apartment' She said

'Well just Y/n then' Stanley said

Beverly shook her head

'O-okay we will n-need a look out' Bill said, turning to Richie 'S-stay here'

'Whoa! Woah! what if her dad comes back?'

'Do what you always do! Start talking' Stanley said

'I'll stay too' I said, 'it's only fair'

'But y/n- 'Eddie said

'It's fine, I'll keep the trash mouth company' I said looking at Richie

Eddie nodded, following the rest inside

'How are you?' Richie asked

I shrugged 'Fine you?'

He nodded 'Bill told me about your dad'

I frowned 'I don't know what you mean...'

'He told me once because he found out about mine.' he said

'Yours?'

He nodded 'My parents don't care what I do, they don't give a shit about me' he said

'That's not true.' I said

'It is, trust me. They don't even know when I've left the house. All these kids missing you would think they would get more protective, but sometimes I can't help but feel they wouldn't care if I went missing.'

'Richie, don't be silly! They are your parents.'

He shook his head 'I don't mind, I have you guys. I'm just saying i'm here if you need me, like all of us'

I smiled 'Who knew Richie had a nice side.' I teased

'don't you dare tell anyone!' he said

I smirked 'Maybe I will, maybe I won't.'

'if you do I will just tell Eddie about the massive crush you have on him.'

My eyes widened 'i-I don't have a crush on him.'

'Then why are you blushing?' he asked

This only made me blush harder

'i-im not' I said

He rolled his eyes 'whatever'

I looked over to him, not saying anything but I think he knew by my face the truth.

'Guys!' Eddie came out with bags of rubbish

'What happened in there?!' Richie asked
