Once back to the beach Lauren started to gather some sticks,palm leaves ect..

"Ok so I'll build a shelter and you collect sticks for a fire" she told me

"Okay but how are we lighting the fire?" I asked and she pulled out a lighter "wait you smoke?" I asked shocked " yeah why" she asked " you shouldn't it could kill you" I explained " as if you'd care" she mumbled under her breath obviously expecting me not to hear it.

"Actually I would care I'm going to get the sticks" I stated as I walked of to get the sticks I seen the boat I wondered over to it to see what was in it.

There was barely anything in it a paddle a box for the flare gun that Lauren already has and a life jacket which I'll take for us to use as something walking back over to Lauren she looked as if she had already built the shelter.

With twigs and sticks tied round two trees with palms leaves heavily covering it "hey where are the sticks?" She asked "oh right sorry I was exploring I got this we could use it as a pillow?" I explained holding the life jacket up she smiled her award winning smile wait what?

"I'll get the sticks" I told her " no don't worry bout it just wait here I'll get them" and soon after she went to get it

I sat down under the shelter and another sound of thunder boomed over the island I screamed covering my ears with my hands and letting out a few tears. "hey I got th-" Lauren cut herself of by running over to me "hey hey hey what's wrong?" she asked concerned

Just then another roar of thunder was heard and I jumped into Lauren's arms and she mustn't have expected it because she stiffened then soon loosened up she made me feel safe in this big bad island "it's fine camz it's just thunder" she whispered

"Camz?" I asked smiling " oh right um sorry I don't know I'll just get the fire starting" she coughed and let go of me while she started the fire I lay down hugging my legs because of the coldness "hey are you cold?" Lauren asked I nodded

And she started taking of her cardigan " no then you'll be cold" I reminded her " I'll be fine here" she told me handing me the Cardigan " thankyou" I thanked her while she lay down beside me I don't know why but I snuggled closer to her "are you still cold?" she asked and I nodded yeah let's go with that excuse!
