Assassin or Guardian? [ON-HOLD]

Chapter 6 - Interference

The assassin just finished her latest mission. Hae Seul walked down the pathway on her way to the headquarters but stopped when she heard some muffled sounds and someone talking. After contemplating for a while, Hae Seul walked towards where the talking came from. She turned a corner and heard more.

"I warned you didn't I? I better get money from you tomorrow."

That was more than enough for Hae Seul to get angry. As much as she just wants to save the victim, she does not want to break the first rule. Scratch that, she does not want to break any of the rules.

"As an assassin under the Kim's Company, you are not supposed to poke your butt into other people's private matter unless it is for your mission. If I find out that any of you are involved with someone's private matters, the consequences are waiting for you. And I will only reveal it once someone break this rule. Any questions can be asked later."

Gathering all the guts that she has, and break the rule that she had never thought of breaking. I mean there are other rules and she doesn't think of breaking any of them but oh well... Rules are meant to be broken in the first place.

"Ya!" - Hae Seul shouted as she turned the corner to confront the criminal. The guy was startled but got his composure back.

"Is a little girl trying to save you, Lee Daehwi? Such a sweet love story. But it's going to end here." - The guy said and walked towards the girl.

"My my my. Such a beautiful face and body. Let's put it to good use." - The guy said and touched Hae Seul's hair and shoulder as if she was his.

The girl smirked and kicked the guy's stomach making him kneel down. The guy groaned in pain. When he was about to stand up, Hae Seul stepped on the back of his knee and grabbed his hair.

"You think I'm easy just because I'm a girl? I'm am not a normal girl. And with just one move, I can kill you within seconds." - Hae Seul said and gave him a punch on the top of his head. By now, his head was bleeding. The guy was shaking in fear when he heard what the girl said.

The guy groaned in pain and tried to escape Hae Seul's grip. Hae Seul held the guy by his collar and spat on his face.

"The next time I see you touch any other person the same way, you'll be buried 7 feet under the ground alive. And there will be no evidence for that. You hear me, you dick head?!" Hae Seul said.

"I-I am sorry. P-please, forgive me. I-I won't d-do it a-again. I s-swear I-I won't." The guy said and nodded his head weakly as he tries to pry Hae Seul's hand to release his collar.

Being the rough assassin Hae Seul is, she pushed the guy roughly against the rocky wall and dragged him to one side with his face on the uneven surface. She then turned him to face her punched him till he blacks out.

"That shall be enough to keep him knocked out for now." - Hae Seul said. When she turned her head to look at the victim, the poor guy was lying on the floor, coughing blood.

Hae Seul approached the guy and kneel down beside him. "Boy... You need to get some fighting lesson. Look at those bruises. I'm sure it's gonna take damn long to heal. Good luck in that. And I hope someone would save you. Cause otherwise, you're gonna die here." She whispered to the weak male in front of her and left.

An hour has passed.

Jungha is pretty much lost in this unfamiliar neighborhood. She has no idea of where she is going.

"The next time I see you touch any other person the same way, you'll be buried 7 feet under the ground alive. And there will be no evidence for that. You hear me, you dick head?!" She heard someone said followed by a shuffling of feet.

Once the shuffling of feet has stopped, Jungha walked slowly to see what was happening. She crept by the wall and peeked her head. And all she saw was a long-haired person wearing all black kneeling down beside someone. The moment this long-haired person stand, Jungha ran to the other side.

"Gosh, what luck do I have... I am officially screwed when the boss finds out, but, I don't give a shit. I just hope someone is not listening to every single word that I am saying..." The person said. Jungha wasn't sure if this stranger knows that someone is there or it was really her thoughts.

Once the girl leaves the place, Jungha walked into the dark alley. She squinted her eye trying to see better and found a guy lying on the uneven floor.

"Daehwi! Oh my god Daehwi! Are you okay? Sit up. Hey hey. Can you hear me? Can you see me?" - Jungha asked but got no response. He had passed out.

The time was 11 pm. Daehwi's hand was on Jungha's shoulder and she was dragging him to her house.

"I had never brought anybody home. This is the first time. The 2 Hee had never stepped into my house before. And this, guy, oh god... What did I do to deserve such a tiring first day..." - Jungha complained to herself.

Upon reaching her house, she places the injured Daehwi on the stairs so that she can take out her house key.

Once Jungha unlocked the door, she carried Daehwi again and place him on the couch slowly, as she tries not to make any noise to alert her parents.

"You're home late Jung- WHO THE HELL IS THAT!? WHY IS HE HERE?! DID YOU FINALLY GET A BOYFRIEND?! OMG, MY DAUGHTER!" Jungha's mom spoke once she opened her bedroom door.

"MAMA IS PROUD OF YOU! I APPROVE! WE'LL TALK TOMORROW!" Jungha's mother shouted once again.

"No no no mom! That's not how it is...." Jungha said but it was too late because her mother had already closed the door.
