Assassin or Guardian? [ON-HOLD]

Chapter 7 - 3:33 AM

Jungha's POV

I facepalmed myself when my mother said those words and left me before I could say a word. I am disappointed but not surprised by my mother's words. She has always wanted me to get a boyfriend. But no, not Daehwi. All these would be puppy love, and that's not my style. And, Daehwi isn't the kind of guy I'd date.

I went to the kitchen and took out our first aid box and head back to Daehwi. Gosh this kid. I can't believe such thing is happening to such person. He really needs some fighting classes...

I repositioned Daehwi so that he lies on the couch comfortably. I can't risk him getting more injuries because of lying in an uncomfortable position.

I took out tweezers, cotton gauze and a bottle of rubbing alcohol from the first aid box.

I pour a little bit of the rubbing alcohol onto the cotton and dabbed it lightly on Daehwi's bruises.

The next morning.....

"WHO ARE YOU AND HOW DID YOU GET IN HERE!?" I heard someone shouting which wakes me up from my beauty sleep.

I turned to face the coffee table beside my bed to look at the clock.

"It's 3:33 freaking a.m, who the hell in the right mind is that....." I grumbled. I get off my bed and walked to where the noise was from. I walked with my eyes closed and my hand stretching out to make sure I didn't bump into any wall. It's still too early to open my eyes.

"I don't know how am I here. I am looking for the exit. I- I really don't know." I heard a familiar voice.

Oh right... Daehwi... He was in the kitchen with Mina.

"Young Lady Jungha! Don't come close. He broke into the house and claims that he woke up in the living room and is now looking for the exit!" Mina exclaimed.

This girl is going to wake the whole neighborhood up...

Upon hearing Mina's words, Daehwi turned to face me and had the confused expression plastered on his face.

"Jungha? You're here? Why am I here? I thought I was walking around with some guy and I-"- Daehwi said and I cut his words because I just need to sleep.

"Shh. Just shut it, Daehwi. Mina, just continue what you were doing okay. He's a friend of mine and I-" - I said, but my lovely maid cuts my words.

"Young Lady Jungha! How could you bring someone home? What if Master Seung Ri finds out? I can't let this be, Young Lady Jungha!" - Mina said. I can't stand this girl

"Shut up Mina! I said let it be so just let it be! I brought him in because he was injured! Any other questions, I'll answer that later in the morning. Now, please just go to sleep on carry on what you intended to do." - I shouted.

I am risking myself to save Daehwi from this mess because my parents are light sleepers. Mina looked at me apologetically and went to her room. I looked at Daehwi and ask him to sleep in my room to avoid anybody else being annoying early in the morning.

7:30 am.

Gosh, it's already morning and I have to wake up and do my daily routine. My back hurts... Oh right... I gave up my bed for Daehwi since he was injured. I sat up and looked at the bed with my eyes half open, just to find him missing.

"DAEHWI!?" - I shouted and ran out of my room.

"Mina!!! Where is that guy? That person I brought home! Where is he?!" - I exclaimed the moment I saw Mina, who was cleaning the dining room. She only looked at me, shaking, and points her forefinger to the living room.

"KIM JUNGHA! COME HERE RIGHT NOW! I HEARD YOU SHOUTING AT THE POOR MAID SO YOU BETTER GET YOUR ASS HERE, KIM JUNGHA!" - I heard my appa shout from the living room.

I am so dead. And that too, early in the morning...

I'm sorry for the late update (again) and for the short update (AgAiN). I got side tracked with work (AGAIN) and I've been losing my mind tryna get a boyfriend from tinder 😂 (AAAAAGGGGGGAAAAIIIINNNN)
