Chapter 18 - New Love

*Ah Dae's POV*

Once I entered Hae's car, I couldnt help but to keep thinking of what happened. She blew up the whole mansion. Said that Ryu Min Ho is an insider. But she protected me from dying when she blew up the highest floor of the building.

Her body was so close to mine. I swear I may or may not have felt her boobs on me. But she was so hot doing all those stuffs.

I was told by the other assassins that she's the most dangerous out of all. And she's the only one who our Boss praise the most. God, I'm in love with her, I swear I am.

She's just so effortlessly beautiful. The way she tie her hair up when she's about to fight. The way she drives. The way she just sit there being quiet. She's perfect. I just can't help but to fall deeper in this pretense.

"Rule number 1 for all the new assassins. No falling in love with one another. Be it the same gender or the opposite gender. If you want to be in love, I suggest you to leave before you even start anything."

That's the first rule the boss gave us. But I just can't help it. Not when she's just- she's just... Oh god... She's just her. She's perfect the way she is. I am the first one who the boss gave this opportunity to work with Hae.

Because how do we be an assassin without proper guidance and experience. The boss don't want us to mess up our first solo mission, so he sent one of us to join Hae in her solo mission to learn more. I've joined this company for about 3 months but the boss had never given me any chance to execute a mission.

"Are you thinking about how the ABCs start?" - I heard Hae asked out of nowhere. She's been driving for quite awhile, now that I realise.

"No, Hae."

"Seems like it. Now tell me what were you thinking about?"

"You sure you want to know?"

"Yes, now spill those juice."

"You."

The car screeched and came to an abrupt stop.

I think I screwed up.

Hae turned and looked at me in the eye.

"Why? Why are you thinking about me out of everything else?" - she asked. Her voice is so sweet like a candy.

"I was thinking about... About... Oh about why you became an assassin. I'm just curious. I mean I'm sure we all have our reasons. So I want to know yours." - I answered spontaneously.

"Oh. If that's what you're thinking about, the only thing I can say is, don't be a curious cat. There are things you don't have to know." - she replied. She's like a toxic. She make people be more curious, but she shut them up and make them dizzy by thinking about it. She's like an alcohol. So addicting but difficult to control once you get it..

She stepped on the engine and continued driving.

I looked out of the window, enjoying the dark night sky view, and eventually fell asleep...

~fast forward to next morning~

I was woken up by the blinding light from the sun. I stretched and and turned my whole body 360° and I realise that I was already in my bed. Did Hae carried me here? Gosh how perfect can she be. I tossed and turned on my bed and finally went to a sitting position. I reached out for my phone to check the time.

7:33am...

I ruffled my hair and smiled to myself. I worked with the best assassin!!!! 

I shouted at the top of my lungs in happiness and lied down on my bed once again.

"Best working experience and best partner ever!!!! Woohoo!!!!! Oh my god!!! I love this!!! Aahhhhhhh!!!!!!"

"OI! WILL YOU SHUT UP!? I'M TRYING TO DO SOME YOGA HERE AND YOU'RE RUINING MY PEACE!!!" - I heard someone shouted. It sounded too clear and too near and too loud to be my neighbour...

I jumped out of my bed and ran to my living room.

"Hae?"

"Yes, Ah Dae. Now will you let me be in peace for some yoga." - she wasn't asking. I nodded my head and slowly walk backwards to wash up.

Once I finished washing up, I head back to the living room to check on Hae. She was in a handstand position, and her face was red.

"Umm.. Hae? Do you want to eat?"

No answer.

"Hae....."

I crept closer to her and sat on the couch.

"Hae..................."

"GOD DAMN IT AH DAE WILL YOU CUT IT OFF!?" - she shouted as she went to a sitting position.

"If you're hungry, go and get food. I've cooked. So please don't disturb me." - she added. I nodded my head and make my way to the dining room.

I ate while looking at Hae doing her yoga. That seems fun... Once I was done eating, I went to where she was, sat on her left side and tried to copy her positions.

She sat with her legs crossed, palms together, and she slowly make a circle with her hand and putting her palms together once again, but this time on top of her head, and bring it down to chest level.

After awhile, she brought her hand down and I followed suit. She turned her head to the left, and I copied.

"What are you doing, Ah Dae?"

"Yoga. I'm copying you."

"My yoga doesnt include me turning to the left all the way. I'm looking at you, Ah Dae..." - she said. I replied and 'oh' and turn to face her.

"Debrief. How was your mission?"

"It was... Thrilling? It was a really fun mission. But I am still shock about the bomb thingy and also the guy who you say is an insider."

"Okay... How was it working with me?"

"Since this is my first time, I think I can learn a lot from you. You do things without saying anything. And I think that is both good and bad. It's good because if the other company people were there like just now, they wouldn't know your plan. And I think it's bad because it will always leave your partner shock and clueless. And that's why I asked you a lot of question. That's why..." - I said and looked down.

She hummed and reached out for her phone.

"Boss wants us to be at the headquarters. Get your stuff."
