Assassin or Guardian? [ON-HOLD]

Chapter 15 - Guardian

I woke up and I couldn't open my eyes at all. I rubbed my eyes and felt some small solid stuff on my eye. I need to check the time and go to school. I pushed myself off the bed and walked towards the toilet with my hands stretching out as a guide just in case I bump into anything. 

I opened my room door and heard someone calling for me.

"Young Lady Jungha? Why are you walking like that?" 

"Is that Mina unnie?" - I asked as I turn to the direction of where the voice was coming from. 

"Yes, it's me. By any chance, are you going to the toilet, Young Lady?" - She asked. I nodded my head and soon felt her palms of my wrist. 

"I'll lead you there, Young Lady." - Mina said and pulled me to the toilet. Once we entered the toilet, Mina left me in the toilet to give me some privacy. 

I washed my face and cleaned my eyes. When I looked at the mirror, I got a shock of my life. My eyes were so red and I am not even angry right now. I leaned in the mirror and kept looking at my eye...

Then it hits me.....

"NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!' - I shouted, shocking Mina, who immediately dashed in.

"What happened, Young Lady?!" - Mina asked.

I turned to look at her and back to the mirror and back at her. I then leaned against the wall and slide down to the floor.

"What happened, Young Lady Jungha? Is everything okay?" - She asked again.

I looked at her and cried.  

"I am having sore eyes!!!! Mina unnie!!! I am having sore eyes!!!!" - I cried. Never in my life, I thought I'd get sore eyes, but that is obviously not my fate.  

"Young Lady Jungha... I thought it was something more crucial... I'll get the eyedrop for you in the morning. Please have some rest, Young Lady." - Mina said. I stand up and walked back to my room. I lay down on my bed and grabbed my phone only to be blinded by the brightness of my phone. 

Right, I went to sleep without adjusting the brightness and without switching on the blue light mode. I immediately adjust the brightness and looked at the time, it is 5:30 am. My alarm is set at 6 am. I need to leave the house by 6:45 am for school. I hesitated to go back to sleep or not but eventually did...

I woke up and see the sun peeking through my curtain. It's not even 7 but the sun is so so so so bright. It's not 7 right????

I jumped out of my bed and checked my phone. It's already 7:15 am and the sun is up. I am so so so late for school!! I rushed to the toilet but heard my name being called.

"Jungha! Kim Jungha! Where are you going?!" - Eomma called out.

"School! I'm so so so late eomma! Got to go to school!!" - I shouted as I ran across the hallway for the toilet.

I showered as fast as I can and ran back to my room to get into my school uniform. Once I'm done putting my school uniform on, I ran out of my room with my school bag, handphone, and whatnot. 

"Jungha! Come here!" - Eomma called out again.

"I'm late, eomma! Talk later. Bye!" - I shouted as I rummaged through the shoe rack for my school shoe. 

"You're not going to school, Jungha." - Eomma said out of sudden. I stopped looking for my shoe and turned to face eomma and give her the 'why not' face. 

"Mina told me you're having sore eyes. I'm not letting you pass that to your classmates, Jungha. Please get changed and go to the doctor." - Eomma said.
