For You (AU medieval- zelink)

Slumber

We take Link back to the castle and lay him in the infirmary. For many days I visit him, just talking to him, telling him how preparations are going and how much progress we are making. He smiles in his sleep when I talk to him and tell him about the other champions, I'm unsure if he can really hear me or not but it brings me great joy to see his smile.

On one of my visits I find Mipha sitting next to him, she looks as If shes been crying a lot, she looks up at me "Princess... it...it's nice to see you again." she stands up "I best be going, there is much to do."

"wait, Mipha, is there something troubling you?" I ask.

"Yes, there has been something troubling me. As you may know I have feelings for Link and he has feeling for someone else, so I'm sure you can imagine how that would feel to know that your not the one he desires" she cries and runs off. 

"Mipha" I try to catch her but its too late. I look at Link and kind of feel sad, although I have no idea why, it's not like I'm in love with Link. Just the thought of that makes my cheeks warm. No you can't be in love with him, he is just your guard and trusted boyfriend...FRIEND, I MEANT FRIEND. 

I can feel my cheeks growing warmer with each thought, but then I hear Link mumbling "Da...Da..." and it all goes away, I look at him with sorrow. I'm sorry Link this is all my fault your like this. Please wake up soon Link.

I leave the infirmary after a hour and find my father speaking with Impa and Daruk, "ah Zelda, since Link is in his coma, Daruk and some Sheikah are going to a company you to the Spring of Wisdom, that won't be a problem will it" he says with a stern voice.

"N..no, not at all, I was just hoping I could bring Link with me, I would have much rather have him with me" I say trying not to tear up

"I'm afraid we can't waste any more time, you must awaken your powers so we can be ready for Ganon when he shows up" he stands there for a moment "I forbid you from seeing Link while he's in his coma and command you to focus all your time on unlocking your powers, as your king you will obey this command." he turns and leaves, Impa and Daruk follow. 

I claps to the ground, tears start streaming down out of my eyes "I've dedicated my whole life praying, pleading to the spirits tied to the ancient gods, what is it, tell me, whats wrong with me" I break down and let it all out. Link please, I need you, Link open your eyes.
