For You (AU medieval- zelink)

"are you okay, what happened" some Gerudo guards rush over.

" I'm fine, but my guard is not. We ran into some Yiga and he was gravely injured, please, can you help him" tears streaming down my face.

"We need a medic, stat." the guard calls "don't worry, we will get your friend all fixed up" 

the medic cleans Link and examines his wound "he has been poisoned and this wound is already infected, I can treat him a little but I'm afraid that I can't do much for him here" she shakes her head "It's only a matter of time before the poison reaches his heart, if we could get him to Zora's domain there is someone that could heal him completely, but that would take a week on foot he would be gone by then" 

"can you at least get him to Rito village, we may be able to get help to get him there" I plead with her. 

Link grabs his sword and uses it like a cane to prop himself up, the Gerudo guards look at him in awe.

"how are you still able to walk, you need to rest" the guards tell him, but he just puts his hand up to stop then starts walking toward Karusa Valley. 

"Link, where are you going?" I yell worried about him "it's dangerous out there" but he keeps walking but then tells one of the guards something and points to me, she nods and tells me that I need to go to Gerudo town and that she will accompany me there and make sure I get there safe, but I look over at Link and he just keeps on walking.

"But what about Link, he is still injured" I look to the guard

"He said that he will be fine, I must respect the wishes of a champion" she states "Now we must get you to Gerudo Town before the sun rises, most monsters will be asleep at this time"

When we get to Gerudo Town I run to Urbosa and tell her everything that happened.

"Karusa Valley! That is where the Yiga hideout is, he can't go there he'll be killed within seconds of being spotted. Come we must hurry and beat him before he gets there" she says as she calls on some of her guards to join us.

we use sand seals to reach the valley but when we get there all is quiet, we go a little farther and find some bodies dressed in Yiga clothing.

"Link has already beat us here, we must be quiet we don't want to attract any attention on our selves" Urbosa says as she keeps going forward, but the further we go the more bodies we find. We come to a large chamber with multiple curtains that have been burned and behind one is a stair case going up, walk up and find more bodies of former Yiga soldiers.

"It's hard to believe Link did this while wounded and poisoned" one of the guards remark and I just nod and keep moving forward.

"something is troubling me, you would have thought we would have found Link by now but we haven't seen any sign of him except for these... things" Urbosa points to the Yiga soldiers on the ground. 

We continue through the hideout and soon hear the sound of blades clashing together, we run and find Link and some Yiga all interlocked in battle. Link in pain with more small cuts but still standing, all the Yiga are breathing really heavily and look tired, one tries to jump at Link but he just jumps to the side and then ends him in one fierce strike, the others look at Link and decide that they don't want end up like their fallen comrades and run away. Link staggers then falls to the ground unconscious.

"Link" I run over to him and lift his head "Link, you idiot, why would you risk your life like this, you know how important you are to everyone, your the hero but that doesn't mean you can do anything without consequence, without you we are all doomed to our end, Hyrule needs it's hero" tears streaming down my face.

He looks at me and smiles then coughs "sorry, b..but my first j...job is to make sure you...your safe and nobody hurts you" 

That's the first time he's ever spoken to me. Stunned I finally say "we need to get you to Mipha, fast"
