My younger brother Noble (12 going on 13 in November) is going as Luigi for Halloween and since the stores were out of Luigi costumes, my mom had to buy him some overalls. The only problem is that the only overalls the store had were a bit big on him, and since my latest sewing class assignment was to hem some pants, she decided to dump the project on me. I've never hemmed pants before, but they turned out amazing and he's really happy with his costume. Plus he'll be able to wear the overalls in the future.
