Oh gosh these two are adorable together! If you've been reading my book Shroud of Lies, you'll know that Scrapper and Xolt have just met a young dragon who at first they thought was dead. The dragon turned out to be a very young shocker dragon with a modest and compassionate personality. Faern is a big sweetheart and she's such an unusual color morph of her breed.
Scrapper isn't taller than 3 1/2 feet tall. Xolt is around 6ft tall. Faern is 5ft tall at the shoulder, 18ft long from nose to tail, with a wingspan of 20ft. Faern's full height from the ground to her head is 10ft tall. Technically her shoulder would come up to my neck! She's actually larger than the dragon Empress Leif who is about the size of a horse plus tail and neck. Leif is 6 1/2ft from the ground to her head with her neck stretched out, so yeah...

As I added the pattern to Faern I just couldn't help but squee over how cute she is!
