"Sir, they are gone." The king felt the anger rise to his face. "Send out troops, search every inch of this land for them tomorrow morning!" He commanded. "Sir, yes sir!" The king watched his soldiers storm out, leaving him alone in the bathroom. He stared out the broken window. Still fresh blood lay on the jagged lines of the broken glass. He knew it belonged to Ray. "He will pay. Oh he will pay. No one spites the king and gets away with it. No one gets away with anything. This is my kingdom. He lives under me. I will break his fragile life, make him my slave, make him crumble. You've angered the wrong people Ray, the wrong people." The king whispered, running his finger along the jagged glass, dipping his finger in Ray's blood. "Gavin will be the first to go." The king stared out the window and into the night. There was a time where he was happy. He had a family. He had a beautiful wife and children. He had an amazing job and life and everyday he would wake up happy. There was no happiness left in Ryan Haywood, the mad king. He has no soul, no heart to feel emotions. That was taken awhile back when the king murdered his wife in front of him and his kids. The king then slit the throats of his children. That's when he went mad. Emotions disappeared from his body, as if they never existed. All he felt was anger, and emptiness. He killed the king that day, with his bare hands. Choked him to death, beating his lifeless body, crying out anything left in him that made him human. He ruled then, took the throne and took the power. He wanted everyone to suffer the way he had. No one deserved happiness if he couldn't have it. Ryan snapped to reality as Dan walked behind him. "Find him. Find both of them." The king growled and he nodded. "I want Ray to watch me rip Gavin's throat out, to watch Gavin suffer, to watch him die. To have the blood of his loved one splatter on his skin. He needs to suffer." Dan nodded again, absorbing the king's words. Dan wanted to kill Gavin as well, but for a different reason. He wanted Ray. He wanted to control him to own him everyday. Ryan shooed Dan away. "Oh Ray, you should have joined me. You are capable of so much more. Together, we could rule. This would be our kingdom. Too little too late. You should have joined me Ray. That's the only way Gavin would have been safe. It's too late now I guess. You'll see. You'll understand me when his blood hits you. You'll lose your mind. You'll become me. R & R Connection." The king said, storming out of the room and to his room to rest his twisted little mind. Miles away, Ray was doing the same thing. He felt it inside of him. A demon trying to break free. And it almost did when he saw Gavin dying. Without Gavin, Ray would lose emotions. He would become a younger version of the king. "This is what you wanted...." Ray yelled to no one. He cuddled closer to Gavin's sleeping body and allowed himself to be taken away by the darkness.
