Holy shit guys. I'm actually so sorry. I've kind of been writing else where and about other things. Example: archiveofourown and about Tucker and Washington from Red vs Blue. I don't know if I should even continue this so if you want me to it would be nice to know!

Everyone was standing quietly, bags slung over shoulders and chests bare. It was easier to just not wear a shirt because it'll tear anyways. Geoff, Jack and Griffon each had a pick-axe and shovel to dig through the ceiling. Everyone else either had a pick-axe or shovel. The process was a long one, taking over 3 hours. "I can see the sky!" Ray heard Geoff scream and everyone cheered, digging a bit faster and harder. Soon, there was a hole the size of a person to fit through. A bunch of people that Ray didn't even know were hoisted up through the hole and took off into the sky. Soon, only Geoff, Griffon, Ray, Michael and Gavin remained. "Well boys, this is it. You three take good care of each other alright? Griffon and I are always a call away if you need us." They were all quiet as Michael was hoisted up first, and called down it was clear. Gavin was put up and the Ray. "What about you guys?" "We'll be out in a minute. Just want to say goodbye to our home." "Okay. Bye Geoff." "Bye Ray."

The trio stood on top of the mountain, eyes up to the sky, breathing in the fresh air. "Let's go." They each spread their wings, casting shadows in the moonlight. As they took off, the were quiet, looking at the ground in search for Ryan's men. "I think he sees us!" Michael fiercely whispered, as a guard looked up and yelled something. "Oh yeah. We're fucked." "GO TO THE TREES!" Michael yelled, doing a sharp turn into the direction of the forest. Michael was in the lead, then Gavin and Ray in the back. They dodged branches as the sound of Ryan's men were getting closer. "Hurry!" They flew above the trees and flew as fast as they could. They went to take a turn, and as they did, Gavin let out a strangled scream. His left wing had been shot, putting his off balance and sending him spiraling to the ground. "GAVIN!" Michael and Ray both screamed, shooting towards his falling form. Ray managed to grab his arm, flinging his legs towards Michael, kicking him across the face accidentally. "Shit. Sorry!" Michael grabbed Gavin's swinging legs and they tried their best to stop him, but they were still falling and fast. Ray lifted his wings up and flapped with all his might, Michael doing the same. They slowed down until they hit the ground softly. Ray and Michael collapsed, exhausted from using all their energy to stop Gavin from falling. They couldn't seem to get back up, they were completely drained of energy. Micheal gripped onto Gavin's wrist, and from where he was laying, pulled. Gavin's body inched towards him, and when Ray realized what he was doing, helped pull Gavin towards them. Eventually the passed out form of Gavin reached them and they pulled him into a bush they were sat next to. They could hear the thundering sound of footsteps on the ground. "Hurry." They shoved Gavin into the bush, making sure he was completely hidden from the outside. It wasn't a great spot, but it was all they had at the moment. "Can you get up?" "Yeah, I'm gaining some strength back." Ray and Michael both stood slowly, stretching their sore and tired wings. "We aren't gonna be able to fly much further and we can't leaving Gavin bleeding out here." Ray nodded, looking up. A tall thick tree towered over them with tons of branches. "The tree." Michael nodded, getting what Ray meant. He pushed his wings, making them ache in protest but carrying him up the tree anyway. Once they were both up decently high, they stayed as still and quiet as possible. Ray wrapped his wings around him and Michael, hoping they would help blend them in.

"He was shot around here sir!" Ray gulped. That was Dan. Ryan had to be close by. "I don't see him." Ray shivered. That was Ryan, The Mad King's voice. "Well it might have been more this way." Ray looked down and would have screamed if Michael hadn't slapped his hand over Ray's mouth. Right below them stood The Mad King himself, Dan by his side. He was looking all around for any sight of something. "It shouldn't be this hard to find that idiot. He's probably yelling for people to help him." Michael quietly broke of a small twig from the tree and threw it as far as he could. It made a sound as it collided against something farther away. "Did you hear that?" "I'm not deaf of course I heard it." They took off towards the noise and Ray let out a deep breath that he had been holding. "We either need to get Gavin and get out or bring him to the tree. How do your wings feel?" "Honestly? Like shit. But we don't have a choice. We need to get out of here as soon as we can." Ray said and Michael nodded. The climbed down from the tree cautiously, looking around to make sure they were alone. Gavin was beginning to come to as Ray and Michael hopped down. "Wa..? Micoo.." Michael put his hands over Gavin's mouth, eyes wide. He motioned a finger to his lips and Gavin nodded, understanding. He pulled his hand away and whispered. "You got shot in your left wing Gavin. I doubt you can fly. Ray and I are gonna get you out of here okay. Gavin nodded, wincing as the pain came back to him. Michael and Ray lifted Gavin together, Ray supporting his back and head while Michael supported his lower body and legs. Michael gave Ray a small nod of his head and they took off the ground slowly, trying not to hurt Gavin anymore. Once they were pretty high, they flew back towards the mountain where they were hiding, hoping for Geoff or someone to still be there. But no luck. It was blocked up and no one was in sight. "They all must have scattered the minute we got free." "And we can't contact Geoff now, it's too risky. Check the bag. There should be a first aid kit or bandages in there." Ray slung the bag off his shoulder and unzipped it quickly. "Here we go." Ray tossed a first aid kit at Michael who caught it. "Okay because the bullet only went through your wing, there's nothing to really clean out and your actual body isn't damaged which is good. We just need to bandage your wing and it'll be sore and hard to tuck them away for awhile." Michael said as he went about wrapping the bandage firmly around the hole. "Where do we go Michael boi?" Gavin asked nervously, face showing his fear. "I don't know Grabbin, but we are gonna figure it out together okay?" He nodded stretching his wing after Michael finished bandaging it. "It feels fine, just a little sore but I'll be fine to fly." "Still take these." Ray handed Gavin some aspirin, which he managed to swallow with no water. "I guess we should head east and away from the kingdom right?" "I have no idea. Geoff never told us where we should go!" Ray said, pacing frustratedly. "Take a deep breath. Nothing gets solved when people are emotional." Ray did just that, breathing deeply through his nose and out his mouth. "I don't know where we can go. I don't think we should leave the area because Ryan definitely has wanted signs in each kingdom, and he's probably asking for a hefty reward. That will bring people flocking. We need to lay low for awhile, maybe dig our way back into the mountain after we gather more stuff or just camp out in the woods." "That doesn't seem safe. Well we aren't really safe no matter what we do so." "Maybe we should just go home." "You know we can't do that Gavin." I know but I miss it! I want things to be normal again!" "Well they aren't okay? And we can't change the past so we have to deal with this now!" Ray said frustratedly, still taking deep breaths. "Let's just fly a bit east and deeper to the woods for now. We'll come up with a better plan later when we are all well rested." No one would disagree with that.
