Chapter 16

***Bri's pov***

i didnt realize how tired i was until i fully closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep, not even waiting for my brother to join me. i never really have dreams, but the very few that i do, usually end up happening sometime in my life... its actually very creepy. the next thing i knew....

i was on a red and blue swing set at a park. i was on the left swing out of two and there was a crystal blue pond in front of me. it was covered with scattered bright green lilly pads and was lined in luscious pink flowers. it was a gorgeous view, not to mention the flawless gold sunset above it. the beautiful sound of birds chirping filled my ears as i felt the presence of somebody beside me. i tilted my head to the right as a wide smile spread across my face. dally was swinging on the swing next to me. our hands were connected and we were looking into each others eyes smileing. both swings slowley came to a stop. dally jumped off of his swing, still holding my hand, and pulled me down to the pond where there was a dock hovering about four feet over it. we both took a seat dangling our legs over the end. dally leaned his head in front of mine smirking, disrupting my view. i didnt mind much, in fact i preferred seeing his beautiful face in front of me. just seeing him made me feel some type of way, a way that was rather addicting. i loved the feeling and couldnt stand to be without it. dally leaned in closer laying a soft kiss to my lips. i quickly returned the kiss. he slowely pulled away nudging his head into the crook of my neck. i tilted my head to the side as he made a trail of kisses up to my ear where he wispered

"i love you"

the sound of his words felt right, natural, and pure. before i could return the gesture...

i was woken up by a forceful shaking on my side

"come on wake up" i heard someone yell. it sounded foggy because i just woke up. i rolled over and stretched my arms while yawning. then slowely began to flicker my eye lids as an attempt to wake up. i could vaguely see steve standing above me

"late for what" i said groggy

"school" steve screamed walking into the kitchen "i brought your bags into ponys room"

"oh shit" i yelled looking at the plain clock sitting on the wall. i jumped off of the couch not even bothering to fold the blanket and headed into the crowded bathroom. soda was taking a shower while ponyboy was brushing his teeth, he was dressed in dark navy jeans and white converse. however, he was lacking a shirt revealing his softly toned abbs.

"scoot over sabrina lover" i said bumping him with my side. he gave me a confused look trying to hold back his blushing.

"hey!" he yelled embarrassed spitting the tooth paste into the sink "are you going to talk to her today"

"you bet"

pony looked into the mirror and smiled at himself.

"loser" i smirked

"oh shut up" pony replyed slickly greasing his hair back.

i grabbed the comb from the sink and began to brush out my hair. as i was parting it to the side soda stepped out of the shower grabbing the towel on the rack. he failed to cover his whole body before i got a good view of his rear end

"wooah watch where your aiming that thing!" i said between laughs throughing my hands over my eyes.

"hey! if you got it, flaunt it" soda yelled winking at me as he tied the towel around his waist and walked out of the bathroom door

"well this has been an interesting weekend" i admitted to ponyboy.

"thats the truth" he replyed

i grabbed my tooth brush and began to brush my teeth after spending about 10 minutes in the bathroom, i started to smell the delicous scent of waffles and syrup. i quickly headed out of the bathroom and into soda and ponys room. they both walked out and into the kitchen so i could have my privacy while changing. i decided to wear my tight gray leggings with a light blue lace tank top and teal converse. i walked over to their mirror and applied light mascara. i couldnt wait any longer to eat the yummy food darry cooked for breakfast. i ran out of the door and jumped into my seat at the table. soda, pony, johnny, and darry all looked at me starting to laugh

"well someones hungry" darry called me out

i just looked at him and blushed. soon steve ran in throughing on his DX jacket. he took a seat next to me while darry placed the food on the table. everyone leaped at it taking every last crumb. we all ate in scilence for 5 minutes before steve and soda both jumped up

"lets go steve we dont wanna be late" soda said taking his last sip of milk

"alright im comming"

steve jumped over his chair and layed a quick kiss on my cheek

"have a good day at school baby sis"

steve and soda put on their hats at the front door and went to work. me, johnny, and ponyboy all reached for our back packs and waited at the front door for the bus.

"bye darry" we all called as the bus arrived out front

"bye, have a good day at school" he replyed

we all ran to the bus and got on one at a time. pony and johnny sat together towards the front of the bus, while i sat towards the back with my friends nora, brynley, and exi. i sat there rather quietly, i couldnt wait to go tell sabrina everything that happened this weekend. the bus came to a hault out front of our school and slowely dispatched the kids inside of it when my friends and i stepped off of the bus we were all laughing about nora's date this weekend with a very stange guy who couldnt stop talking about his two legged cat. before we knew it the bell had rung and we all went to our lockers. first and second period flew by pretty fast. However, i was too distracted by my thoughts that i forgot to pay attention. finally, third period came around, it was science class. Sabrina sits one table behind me.

"Brina!" i yelled very excited while taking my seat "i have so much to tell you, be prepared to take it all in next period at lunch" i smiled to her

"okay! i cant wait" she jittered in her seat

the teacher then walked in and we all turned our attention to the front of the room. as i was dwelling over what i was going to say to brina i didnt even realize the teacher had called on me to answer a question

"do you have an answer Brianna?"

"uhh..umm.. no sir sorry" i replyed nerveously

"oh yes, brianna i would like to see you after class please" he said harshly peering down at me while the whole class made an ohhh sound

"okay sir"

oh no what was going to happen when class was over, how was steve going to react with me getting in trouble at school, was my teacher going to call my parents? as the bell rang, it sent chills down my spine. i slowely gathered my books and walked to the front of the room

"you wanted to see me mr. brocks?"

"yes. Brianna..."
