Tomorrow, we leave for The X-Factor. We'll have to go by plane, which Mum has been saving for again without me knowing, and we all pitched in our own money--Greg and I and Frank. Now, I'm at Harry's to tell him about this exciting news. I'm so excited I can't stop smiling.

"Hey, Niall." Liam smiles at me when he opens the door. "Hey, is Harry here?"

"Yeah, he's up in his room."

"Thanks." I run up the stairs and knock on Harry's door before opening it. He's lying on his bed writing in his brown journal, pressing it against his chest to hide it when I walk in. "Hey." He smiles at me, dropping the pen into the crack of the book and setting it on his dresser. "Hey, babe." I lean down to him to give him a quick kiss. "So, uhm," I smile more and Harry gives me a quirky look. "This is my Mum's present to me." I hand Harry the envelope the papers came in.

"What is it?" Harry asks. "Well open it, numbnuts." I nudge him with my shoulder. He rolls his eyes but opens the top anyways, pulling out the papers. As he reads them, I watch him, biting my lip and my hands never stop roaming over each other in anxiousness. I never even sat down, I'm still standing in front of him.

"You're auditioning for the X-Factor?" Harry looks up at me with, sad eyes? And disappointment in his voice. "Yeah, aren't you excited?" My voice disappears from any type of excitement or happiness. "Niall, you know its a one in a million chance of you winning, right?" My face falls and I swipe my tongue along the inside of my lower lip, glancing to my left before looking back at Harry. "Yeah, but I could still win. Don't you think I'm good enough?"

"Course I do, but, there are so many other people just as good as you and, maybe even better. I do think you're great, amazing, but, the judges are pretty harsh. Especially Simon. He's made people cry, you know, and I know you're an emotional person."

I thought Harry would be happy for me, excited for me. I'm trying to pursue in my dream of having a singing career and he doesn't think I can even get three yes'?

"Why don't you believe in me?" I ask, surprised at his doubt in me.

"I do believe in you, Niall. I just don't think you have as good of odds as everyone else who could be better than you."

I shake my head, scuffing. "I can't believe you have no faith in me, that I can make it past the first round. My MUM believed in me enough to get me audition! My brother, who told me for years that I sucked and could not sing, even told me he would be watching me every week because he know's that those judges will love me. I thought you would be even more happy for me than myself. This is my dream, ever since I was a kid, to become a singer. To...spread my wings and become something better than just a dreamer." Wow, cliche much, Niall?

Harry blinks and instantly has regret in his eyes. "Niall, I'm---so-"

"Can I have my papers, please." I don't look at him as I hold my hand up and wait for him to give me my envelope. Harry stuffs the papers back into the orange giant package and puts it in my hand. I turn around and open Harry's door back up, shaking my head and turning halfway to look at him.

"You have no idea, how high I can fly."

I know this book kind of did suck, because of my attempting to put some drama in it, but I'm proud of this book and that I've actually finished it.

I was so excited for this ending I think its perfect :) I don't know if you do, but I love it.

QOTC: If you have a story idea you would want me to write about, what is it?
