  All he knew was pain.

He forced his eyes open, and he immediately knew he was in the wrong place. He couldn't put his finger on that, but he was surrounded by that...wrongness of his existence. He was a mistake that shouldn't even be there. He knew it.

He saw the blocky trees, and the scorched ground that he lay on. A small circle of fire surrounded him, slowly dying out. He looked up into the sky, and immediately saw something was wrong.

The night sky was a blood red colour, with the sun and moon hanging together high up in the air, overlapping, only giving out a dim glow. Somehow, a red haze seemed to be wrapping itself around the glowing spheres, casting a sinister scarlet light.

Somehow, he knew it was not supposed to happen, he knew that something was wrong with the colour, but he just...attracted to it.

He immediately liked the vibrant, daring colour, like a thirsty man hungering for water, he craved it. The unnaturally red eclipse matching the dying embers. Flickering, spreading. Hissing, their glow spilling across everything they could ever illuminate, turning things into a shade of crimson.

"Ah, there you are," a voice said.

His head whipped towards the speaker. Fear crawled along his throat, the man's voice was so cold that it almost turned him into ice. His spine was numb and stiff.

When he saw the man, every cell of his screamed for him to run as fast as he could and never come back, but he had the feeling he knew the man could always catch him if he tried to run.

The man's deep crimson eyes glinted with satisfaction, and through the man's eyes, he could see himself, paralyzed with fear, standing stiff like an idiot.

The man waved his hand, and he felt his body thaw, as if it had frozen in the first place just by the man's voice.

"It is natural to feel fear in my presence, child," the creepy man said, his forked tougue licking his lips with anticipation, and he rubbed his unnaturally, snow coloured hands together," now, don't just stand there, here," he tossed him a white suit with a snow white hood attatched to it," Get that on, quickly."

He realized the fact that he was nude just now. Embarrassed, he slipped in the clothes the strange man had given him, and once, he was grateful for the warmth. The sensation of something sticking against his skin was weird, but it was also oddly familiar.

The strange man gave him a curt nod," Good, now come along, child, you have a lot to learn."

"Wait," he managed to croak out.

The strange man looked at him as if he had dropped out of space," Yes?"

He was really regretting to have spoken to the man in the first place, he swallowed down his fear, but his fear still trembled uncontrollably," Who are you? Why are you here?"

The man sniffed," Why am I here? Because I just created you, and am here to pick you up. That is all."

"But-" he said, but was cut short as the man's eyes flared bright, so sudden that he flinched on reflex, before those once bright scarlet eyes dimmed again. He smiled, but his smile was like a shark's, impossibly cold yet lethal, showing off those sharp, black teeth of his. His forked tongue slithered around his teeth before vanishing back into the dark recesses of his mouth," Follow me, will you? We don't have all night."

There were a million questions in his head, but he was smart to stay silent as the man spun on his heels and walked off. Confused, he walked through the woodland, almost falling flat on his face when he took his first step. He managed to keep his balance, only to fall when he took his second. The man didn't even look back, just kept his usual pace.

He stumbled after him, trudging through the woodlands.

He looked around him, everything just seemed so at peace, he felt out of place. Something told him he wasn't supposed to be there, and neither should the man who said to had created him.

Nevertheless, he trudged on, stumbling after the man, struggling to keep up with his pace, and the man didn't even look back or seemed to care at all.

Finally, until his legs were shaking like overcooked spaghetti, the man finally stopped. He toppled over, catching his breath. He was surprised that he had managed to make it that far.

" Now can you... tell me who are you, and who I am?" He panted.

The man looked at him, the fading crimson light turning his skin a slight shade of red. The pristine, white glow of the moon peeked out, truly revealing what the man really looked like.

His skin was unnaturally pale, the colour of snow. He was wearing a black tux with a blood red tie, and his eyes, which he had seen flash bright red before, was currently the colour of dried blood.

"Guess I never got a chance to introduce myself," the man spoke in that cold voice of his, and he shuddered, having not heard that voice for several hours, it sent chills slithering up his spine yet again," my name is Israphel. And you, you are my creation, and you need to have a name."

He looked at Israphel, who seemed to be deep in thought, and didn't dare to interrupt him.

"Hmm...I guess Entity 303 will do," he said at last, looking at him," What do you say?"

  He shrugged," Sure."

"Alright," Israphel's face seemed to light up," now, Entity, you must know that this is a dangerous world, and there are people who will want to hunt us, hurt us. You understand?"

  "Yeah," Entity nodded.

"Good," Israphel continued," so from now on, you will be my apprentice, and in return, I will keep you safe and teach you the ways of the world. Deal?"

"Deal," he licked his lips nervously, he had agreed to the strange man's conditions without any doubt, and for all he knew, he could get into trouble. But if he didn't, he was almost certain that his life would be over. Besides, Israphel couldn't be that bad...could he? "Master," he added.

Israphel seemed satisfied," Now let's get started, Entity, lots to learn."

Entity nodded, maybe this life wouldn't be that bad after all.
