The entire team stormed the throne room, avoiding as many squid guards as possible along the way to avoid being held up. Even so, the squid guards seemed unnaturally scarce along the hallways.

They burst into the throne room, breaking down the massive doors, ready to unleash the living Nether on the squids within, just to realize the throne room was devoid of any people.

Adam frowned. That was definitely not what he was expecting, as he stepped forwards cautiously, searching for any sign of squid guards hiding in the shadows, but it was, still, unmistakably, empty.

"What the Nether..." Ty said as he pointed to a piece of paper stuck to a pillar nearby. Adam turned, and went to read it.

Too late, idiots. Bye bye, Budder Kingdom.

Adam balled his fists,"That slimy bastard."

The other crowded around the pillar to read, shocked by the turn of events.

"We are too late," Mitch said grumpily," that scumbug is probably at the Budder Kingdom by now. We will never make it back in time."

Seto sensed another person's presence, as he turned, just to see a man appear soundlessly, looking around to ensure he wasn't being watched. His pure white eyes then locked onto Seto's, as he put a finger to his lips.

Seto's hand crept to the hilt of his sword, and looked behind him, the other people were too busy staring at the pillar to notice him and the man. He nodded at the white eyed being, and mimed zipping his lips.

The man then waved his hands, as a Nether portal appeared, fully alit. He pointed to the eight, then pointed to the portal, and disappeared in a flash of purple particles.

Seto's hand relaxed from his sword hilt. He knew exactly who the man was, and he didn't know why he would be helping them. Many had doubted his existence, but Seto, who had studied the history of his ancestor well, knew the same man fought by his ancestor, Seth, the first sorceror, centuries ago. He had also heard rumours of him pillaging and killing people before he disappeared from the world altogether. But why show himself now?

"Holy Notch, where did that come from?" Jerome nearly jumped when he saw the Nether portal.

The rest of the team turned towards the portal, and Quentin ran his hands over the obsidian surface," Holy jeez, it really is a Nether portal."

"I wonder where does it lead?" Ian asked.

"That, my friends, is our ticket to the Budder Kingdom," Seto spoke up.

The others looked at him, disbelief clear on their faces," How do you know?"

  "I think so," Seto shrugged.

"But who would have put this here?" Adam asked.

"Yeah, this wasn't here in the first place," Ty frowned, then turned to Seto," You see anything?"

Seto shrugged," Someone wanted to help us, it seemed." Then as the rest of the team looked at him, puzzled, he said quickly," Come on, let's go through it, we don't have any time to lose."

"You sure about that?" Mitch nodded towards the portal," As far as I know, this thing can dump us in the middle of nowhere, in another dimension."

"Would you rather stay here then?" Seto then asked," Or rather risk it?"

The team exchanged looks, and looked at Adam.

"Whoa, why are you all looking at me all of a sudden?" Adam took a step backwards.
