Proposals plus Villains equals Immense Trouble

  "Look, Alex-"

  "What?"

  " I know we've been through a lot, and basically grew up together-"

  "Aw, how sweet," she snorted.

  "Yeah, you know, we basically finish each other's sentences-"

  "Because you always took forever to wrap things up, of course," she never fails to get straight to the point.

  "More because you always interrupt my sentences," Steve grumbled.

  "Oh, I'm sorry, are you offended?"

  "Quite," he said.

  "Well if you know me well enough, you should know that I am definitely not patient."

  "Wow, that's the point I'm trying to make!" Steve said," You see, this whole sibling thing has been going on for quite a while now, I think that we should take it to the next level."

  "To the what?"

  "I've been patient, but I think it's now the time," he said, almost feeling himself shrinking from the ginger haired woman's intense gaze.

  "Oh, for Notch's sakes, here we go again," she rolled her eyes.

  "Come on, it's been several centuries, and you know how I feel about you."

  "No means no, Romeo."

  "Why?" Steve asked, a bit bummed," Is there another guy, or even another girl or-"

  "There isn't anyone else."

  "Well good! Wait, I mean-"

  "So you don't have any competition?"

  "Yeah, kind of, my looks and personality are unparalleled."

  "Somebody's full of himself," Alex raised an eyebrow," You do realize that Herobrine looked the same, right?"

  "Nonsense," Steve retorted," He didn't have my beautiful purplish blue eyes."

  Alex made a gagging gesture," Now I want to puke."

  "And besides, you know what happened to him," Steve said.

  Alex glanced at the Lord of the Overworld," Yeah, right, from Notch. You know how trustworthy he is."

  "He has our best interests by heart."

  "He didn't even tell us what happened, for his own goddamn sakes! At least when Israphel opened those rifts, we could have helped those guys!"

  "We're no match for Israphel, and you know it," Steve said,"As much as I hate to say this, our powers aren't exactly as offensive or as powerful as those kids'."

  "And that stupid kid," she snarled, ignoring Steve," I swear to Notch, if I even see him, I will throttle the Nether out of him."

  "That's unpleasant, you realize what Notch is gonna do when you did that to his own kid?"

  "He's probably either gonna applaud or do nothing. That's his way. You know how he thinks of his kid. He's even glad that he ran away!"

  "I know Notch is a bit bonkers," Steve winced, staring fearfully at the sky, as if Notch was going to descend from it any second," But that isn't the point, we're getting off topic."

  Alex scowled at him," I told you, no means no."

  "Why not?" Steve asked.

  "Look, Steve, if we're being honest here, I need to tell you this," Alex took a deep breath," You've always been like a brother to me, and I feel like if we get into a relationship, that's going to change, okay? And I am not sure I want that."
