"Aww crap" Sam and I both where about to run for it when we heard the police car door open.
"Don't even try!" The man warned us before pushing the car door shut.
He was in a brown policeman outfit with a big round almost cowboy like hat in the same colour. He had a really serious expression, kind of like he was tired of little "criminals" like us. He had a chewed a piece of plastic until he walked up to us he took it out and fiddled with it."Lord strike me if this isn't the Andrews kid and the little Lee girl!" He called to his partner.
He's partner also got out of the car, she was a younger woman with short black hair.
"Marcus Lees and Jacob Andrews kids?" She asked and stood in front of us too."Is that a surprise officers?" Sam put his hands into his pockets and looked calm like always, he even had a little smile plastered on his face.
I also tried to stay calm as I was the one who did the graffiti after all."Not for you young man, but for her it is" He answered to Sam but he didn't look bothered at all, like if he was proud of that reputation, I knew he was, he put more effort into his delinquent reputation than anything else.
"You can drag your self down Samuel, but leave this girl out of it."He kept his calm low kind of scary tone as he pointed at me with the chewed piece of plastic. He turned on his heel to his partner who was just behind him talking to who I think was the orange chicks mother.
"We'll take the Andrews kid to the station and then we'll take the girl home." I heard the man say that to his partner."Hey!" I raised my voice slightly, just enough for them to hear from a few feet away, their heads turning to me in shock. "Sam didn't do anything wrong, It was me who picked up the bottle and wrote that on the car. You shouldn't punish him just for standing here." I defended Sam even if he did manipulate me into doing it, it was a great way to relax and spend time with him, he deserved his name cleaned even if he didn't want it to.
Sam looked shock but impressed. I have to speak my mind more often if I want people to take me seriously. The police man turned to me with his whole body."So you are telling me he didn't make you do it?Or even provide the spray paint?" He squinted but I could tell that he didn't believe me.
If I tell him the truth I'm going to be the innocent little girl who gets dragged into things in people's eyes, I didn't want that.
Sam going to take all the blame for spicing my day up, and I didn't want to let that happen, he might be a complete asshole but he knows how to have a good time. Even if it's childish and illegal.
"He got the spray paint! That's it! It was ALL my doing!" I said with confidence in my voice as I stood in front of the sport car I just ruined and confidentially put my hands in my back jean pockets.
If I was somewhere else not in my home town... I could just rip this guy in half, but because I was still here I handed myself over to his partner to push me into the car with Sam, as the officer still didn't believe my story and wanted to hear Sams side, of course I was technically telling the truth he agreed to everything I said.*
As we arrived we were sat down in a small room, people there where mostly reporting small crimes such as stolen packages or vandalism's. The room was a light green colour and the chairs where a dark blue.
"You didn't have to stand up for me." Sam spike after a couple of minutes, his voice was low and there was a small smile spreader on his face.
"Who said I did it for you?" I smiled softly as I leaned back In the uncomfortable blue plastic chair.
"You are getting more and more interesting by the minutes Brooklyn Lee!" He commented as he leaned back in his seat too.As time passed in the waiting room I started feeling under the weather, Aidan was right, I was weak. I didn't drink the blood he dropped off at my house last night and that resorted in this, I was dizzy and nauseous, I felt like the room was spinning with me. I was thirsty.
I had to drink soon or I might do things that I otherwise wouldn't even think about.
"Are you ok?" I heard Sams soothing but worried voice coming from next to me as he must've realised that I was not feeling to hot.
Before I could answer I felt myself falling into my side, watching as the world turned black.
