Everything was silent. They'd taken a minivan that Chuck had created- earning looks of awe from the newcomers- to the stash. It turned out it had been in a demon nest. They'd received mild injuries; there had been a scare when Sam was thrown into a wall and hadn't woken up. Luckily, Chuck had been able to heal him. Dean had proceeded to kill every demon, though.
The stash was hidden in the basement, protected by some kind of warding that disabled Chuck and Amara's powers. Sam had theorized they were similar to the Angel warding he'd found. The atmosphere had been tense after that- what kind of demons knew the warding that could stop God?
They arrived at the bunker.
"Hey, guys!" Dean waved a knife at them, grinning. "We got the blades!" This lightened the mood considerably, and soon everyone was chatting happily again. They pushed open the bunker doors and trudged inside.
"We got them!" Dean yelled down the stairs, pausing at the bottom when he was met with silence. "Cas?" More silence. "Holmes?" Still no response. Dean glanced up the stairs, and they all armed themselves with Angel blades- apart from, Chuck, Amara, and the Doctor, that is. They crept into the main hall.
Sherlock lay unmoving in the corner, his black trench coat fanned beneath him, black hair matted with blood. His clear blue eyes were shut.
Cas was slouched beside him, hands cuffed behind him, head tipped back. His shirt was open, scarlet patches decorating the white linen. Cuts could be seen carved into his skin.
"Sherlock!" John screamed, sprinting towards his friend. Dean ran to Cas's side with a strangled cry. The others crept into the room, staring in horror at the scene before them. Dean turned to Chuck, terror etched into his features.
"Help him," he begged. Chuck shook his head sadly.
"I can't."
