The next scene was a lovely weekend. Sun rays filtering through the lush green canopy, wind rustling the leaves. I was lying on the soft grassy ground, underneath the cool shade of a grand oak, eyes closed, birds chirping in the background. Perfect relaxation. A feeling I have not felt since I was a baby. Always moving, always in danger, always tense and prepared. That's what it meant to live in the streets.

But now, 3 meals a day, 8 hours of sleep, ample time to play. Tranquility painted my days.

"Hey, let's play! I want to be the general this time, you will be my personal aide." She exclaimed as she dashed towards me.

How does she have that much energy first thing in the morning? I, just finished my breakfast, lazed around, feeling drowsy as the warm weather lulled me to sleep. But that girl, no matter what, never runs out of energy.

"Again? I don't get what's so fun about playing that?" I grumbled, not feeling up to it.

"What you mean again? It's fun! Plus, I want to be a commendable general one day. Father said that the world is always full of wars and problems between countries. That's why I will unify the world! That way there will be no more war." She stuck out her chest, looking extremely proud.

The me back then, laughed. Laughed out loud. Such a simplistic view. Such an idiot. If only the world is that simple.

Wilma, puffed her cheeks and pouted, "What's so funny about that? I will definitely do it! Just you watch! And of course when I do it, you will be by my side helping me." She grinned and offered her hand out to me.

Glancing at her cheerful face, I could not refuse. Clasping her hand, I pulled myself up.

Then everything this time went white and I woke up.

Groaning, I clutched my stomach. Yeah, I can still move. No way, I can stop here now. Since she's not here to fulfill her dream, I will be the one to do it.

[World Unification]

Even if I have to crawl the whole way through, I will pass this test. No matter how unsightly, ungraceful and ugly my efforts look.
