- Here's a little something I came up with for our 5th MES project, please bear with it as it was made from soup, hahahaha (forgive any typos and grammatical error, but feel free to point them out J)

- Written in Edward's POV, the ones in Italics are his thoughts

Edward's POV

"Tell me a weird dream of yours" I casually asked her while we were lounging around my backyard; lying on the grass, staring at the beautiful night sky.

This was our thing when we had nothing better to do. She'd come over to my house and we'd just waste the day away doing random things or nothing. Like today, we were just hanging around doing nothing.

"Dream? Like when I'm asleep kind of dream? 'cause I don't usually remember them. I immediately forget the moment I wake up" She answers as she pops a handful of chips in her mouth. That's one thing I secretly love about her; she was comfortable with herself.

"No, silly. Not that kind of dream! I meant something you've always wanted to happen. Maybe since you were a little kid. A wish, perhaps?" I looked at her then and she seemed to be in deep thought

"Hmm... Well," she began "like any other young girl, I've always wanted to get married to a 'Prince Charming', but that was before I found out that Prince Charmings only existed in fairytales, and that fairytales weren't true!" She stopped and giggled at the thought before continuing, "But nonetheless, my dream remains the same. Get married someday."

I turned to look at her and raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"What's so weird about that? Isn't that every girl's dream?"

"Halloween." Was her only response, and that confused me more. I turned my body to face her, now intrigued by what she meant

"What'd you mean 'Halloween'?"

"Halloween. I wanna get married on a Halloween night. Most girls would dream about a Summer wedding or a White wedding on Christmas but not me. I want something unusual. I wanna get married on a Halloween night. I wanna be a Halloween Bride." Another wide smile graced her beautiful face after explaining. A smile that seemed to be a staple feature on her.

"Is that why you always wear a 'wedding dress' as your costume EVERY Halloween?" I asked, amused.

For the past ten years that I've know her, that was always her default costume: A simple white dress with lace accents and quite a long trail at the end. And what's a wedding dress without the white veil that covered her face and a bouquet of fresh white roses and carnation. Ok, I'm only describing it the way I see it; I'm a dude after all, what do I know about those things?

"Yes, and don't you laugh at me, Brad! It just happens to be my favourite costume. Wearing it makes me feel beautiful... even if it's supposed to be the scariest night of the year" she chuckled. Oh May, if you only knew...

"Pshh... You're the weirdest, May. But, you're beautiful no matter what you wear" I responded out of the blue. Silence took over followed by a slight awkward feeling. Where did that come from, Edward?
