Liz's pov.
I'm standing in line and I feel warm hands around my eyes. I turn around to see it's Matt!
"OH MY GOSH MATTY" I scream and give him a bear hug
I hear him trying to say your killing me in a short breath.
"Oh I'm sorry haha I'm so excited to see you" I say smiling.
"Don't worry about it , I'm excited to see you too! I missed seeing that smile" he says
I smile and asked what he was getting.
"Caramel frappe" he said to the cashier and smiled at me.
It's what I usually get
We sat down .
Matt being the clown he is got a brain freeze.
Matt gave me the funniest face when he got his brain freeze I couldn't help but laugh.
"Are you even laughing" he says
My laugh was silent
"It's not my fault " I say still laughing
Matt looked up from his drink smiling and shaking he's head.
Gosh his smile is so contagious I thought to myself. I can't stop thinking about it.
I hear a voice trying to get my attention while I'm staring off into space .
" EARTH TO LIZ " Matt screams into my ear
"Oh sorry, didn't know I was that deep into thought"
"Whatcha thinkin about Lizzie" matt says
"Different things" I say lieing
"Wanna skate to the beach?" He asks
"Showwww" I say being stupid
Matt gives me a look raising his eyebrow
We got to the beach
" wow, it's so beautiful " I say
"Wanna walk?" Matt asks
I smile and say yes
Me and Matt are walking and talking about random things that come to mind
" I'm gonna call you smiley" matts says
"Why" I say laughing
"Because you always have a smile on your face, that's one of the things I like about you, of course in a friend way"
"We'll call me miss smiley" I said smiling
Matts pov.
Gosh her smile Is more beautiful than ever I thought
Do I have feelings for my best friend?
I say thinking to my self
"Hey Liz"
I say to her
"Ya?"
She says with her smile
"Um. Do you ever think of us more than friends?" I say scratching the back of my head.
" Actually Matt, I do sometimes, but I tend to shake It off"
My eyes widen a little
"Really? If you don't mind me asking.. What do you think of ?"
"We'll, I think if we ever went out would It ruin our friend ship, would people get between us, what would our fights be like, ya know?
Matt looked into my eyes and smiled.
"Ya" I say
" what do you think of ?" She says
" basically the same things you do, but I wonder this one thing that I can never say it's to early, maybe another time " I say smiling
"Okay" she says smiling
" hey liz"
" ya Matt?" She says smiling as usual
" you have a beautiful smile" I say smiling
" thank you Matty" she says pinching my cheek.
I look at the time it's 6:30 .
"Liz we should get going it's 6:30"
We get going, I walk liz up to her door and gave her a hug good bye
"Wait matty"
I turned around and saw Liz waving at me to come back
" thank you for a good day today, I needed it, your just the person to make my day brighter thank you" she said as she kisses my cheek.
" your welcome, anytime you need a day out , I'm here "
I walk out and ride home .
When I get home I'm thinking about when Liz kissed my cheek.
Matt your just friends I say to myself .
I kept thinking about what happened all day today. It was perfect!
Before I went to bed my phone went off
It was Lizzie.
Lizzie😄💜: I know I've said this to you already but it really ment a lot for you take me out and to have such a good time with you . Is it ok if we hang out tomorrow also? I wanna talk to you also(: hope you sleep good -smiley
She wants to hang out again ... Yes! ok chill Matt, chill .
I have to reply .
Me: I'm glad you had fun, and yes to hanging out tomorrow ☺️ sleep good beautiful ☺️
Now to sleep .
Lizzie's pov.
I think I'm starting to have feelings for Matt... I wanna talk to him tomorrow about what we talked about yesterday .
I think I should go to bed and get some rest for tomorrow .
*NEXT DAY*
I woke up and smiled.
I got ready.
I didn't do anything to my hair since it's really straight .
I put on a crop top that said "Rad" on it and some high wasted shorts
I put on my HUFF socks ( marijunana socks )
And black vans
I got my penny board, didn't bother to text Matt I wanted to surprise him at his house .
