Chapter 8

Matts pov.

I wanna take Lizzie out on a real date . I wanna surprise her.

I texted her friend Katrina

Me: hey I wanna surprise Lizzie, I wanna take her out on a special date . Would you mind spending the whole day with her?

Katrina texted back

Katrina☺️: yea, do whatcha gotta do Matty boy.

Lizzie's pov.

I get a call from Katrina

*phone conversation*

"Hey Lizzie, you and I are gonna have a girls day out ok? Ok"

"Ok we'll I have to tak to -"

" I already talk to Matt, he said that's fine " she said cutting me off

" ok ... What time are you gonna pick me up ?"

" 3:30"

"Ok"

*phone conversation over*

I throw my hair up in a pony tail .

I put on a flowery blouse and some white shorts with black vans.

I put on eyeliner and Mascara .

After that I get some pizza to eat .

I'm still hungry .. It's only 2:45

I'll cook a package of ramen ..

I ate my food and by the time I was done it was 3:15

So I just watched some tv and waited for Katrina .

I hear a honk outside my house .

I shut the tv off and run outside .

I get in Katrina's car.

"You look nice" she said with a smirk

"Thank you?" I say confused

" so, wanna get our nails done?" Katrina asks

"Sure ".

We head over to the nail salon

The lady tells us to pick out a color

I get pink and Katrina gets purple .

An hour has passed and our nails are done .

When we get into the car Katrina starts driving.

"Where are we going" I ask

"Surprise" she says

" your another person who likes to surprise me" I say laughing

"Who else surprises you?" She asks

"Matt, silly" I say

"Tell me about you guys"

I told her and I babbled on and on and on about Matt and how perfect he is.

The car stopped and I stopped talking .

" where here " she says

"The beach?" I ask

" yea I wanted to just walk around" she says .

We start walking

I see a blanket with a bouquet of flowers and a handsome Matty .

I run over to him and give him the biggest hug .

As I run into him we fall down .

I look up at his face and I start smiling

"Hey beautiful " he says helping me up.

"Was this your idea? To get me out so you could surprise me?"

"Maybe" he says

I kiss his cheek.

Matts pov.

Her smile is just so beautiful. She's beautiful .

We sit down together on the blanket and we watch the sun set near the water .

" you look beautiful Lizzie "

" thank you " she says laying her head on my shoulder.

"Hey Lizzie, can I see your phone?"

I ask

" sure Matty, what for?"

" one to take pictures and two... You'll have to see."

Lizzie and I took a bunch of silly photos together on each other's phone .

I made a list of songs on her phone . For her to listen to.

I also took a bunch of weird selfies.

It was 7:30 .

" we should get back . Wanna come to my house for the night?"

I ask

"Sure" she says smiling

We get into my car and we arrive at my house .

We run up stairs like little children . I shut my door and kiss Lizzie

After all that we just lay down on my bed talking about whatever it is that comes to mind .

I'm happy to call her mine .

" Matty, I don't have pajamas" she says laughing

I get up and give her a shirt of mine .

She gets up and puts it on in the bathroom .

She comes out and it's baggy on her.

Lizzie's tiny anyways so I would imagine it would be .

She comes to lay down and I pull her into my chest.

She starts to fall asleep.

She's beautiful even when she's sleeping .

I take a picture of her sleeping .

I start to fall asleep after that .
