(as the title suggests, this chapter is gonna be all about Evalyn. Not very much action until the end of the chapter but I hope you enjoy, nevertheless. Sorry it's taken me literally ages to get a chapter out and I hope you can forgive me. But hey, if it makes you feel any better, I'm rewatching Fairy Tail so I'm actually in the mood to write some fanfiction ;)
Also, I'm officially 19! So in honor of this as well as getting accepted into university, this chapter is going to be extra long!
And it's December so Happy Holidays everyone! It's my goal to have this book finished by (hopefully) the end of January of 2018 (holy shit, already?) So I can finally get moving on to some of my other projects (:
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy chapter Nineteen!

Juvia watched Evalyn, her heart racing as her eyes stayed on her cousin, poised at the ready to fight.
"Evalyn, you don't have to do this." Juvia said calmly, holding her hand behind her as she heard Gray moving to climb to his feet. "Gray-sama did nothing to you, this is between you and Juvia."
"Aw listen to you, protecting your beloved. My beloved doesn't need my protection." Evalyn snorted, a snide smile on her features. "He's strong enough on his own."
"Then why isn't he down here fighting with the rest of you." Gray asked, holding his arm across his stomach. "That's kinda wimpy if you ask me."
Evalyn growled, holding her hand up. A torrent of water shot forward, slamming into Gray's chest and thrusting him back against the wall behind him. Juvia's head whipped around to look at him in worry, watching as Gray slid down the wall with a groan.
"Gray-sama." Juvia started and his eyes raised to meet hers. She offered him a smile. "Please stay out of this, okay?"
Gray watched her and swallowed, nodding. Juvia turned back to her cousin and swallowed.
"What happened, Evalyn?" Juvia asked and the woman in front of her stiffened.
"I choose this at my own discretion." Evalyn said simply, aiming her hand in Juvia's direction.
Juvia's eyes stayed on her cousin, her left leg slowly sliding back to prepare to lunge forward. "No you didn't. Evalyn was ten years old the last time Juvia saw her. What happened."
Evalyn remained silent for a moment, her eyes moving to the ground and her hand falling to her side. "You left." She murmured and Juvia's eyebrows furrowed. "You left me eight years ago!" Evalyn screamed and Juvia's eyes widened as she disappeared, crying out as a force his her stomach and slammed her against the wall.
"Juvia!" Gray exclaimed.
"It's your fault!" Evalyn's voice was full of pain, her hands grasping Juvia's shoulders as she flung her away from the wall, her feelings transforming her water into an electric current, causing Juvia to scream out in pain. Electricity shot through her and her hands pushed at Evalyn, eventually finding the strength to send the girl stumbling back.
Juvia clambered to her feet and thrust her hand forward. "Water Cyclone!" Juvia exclaimed and the spell burst from her, slamming into Evalyn. The girl cried out, her arms going up to defend her, hands forming a point to split the water. Juvia winced, hearing the crackling of electricity.
"You see, this is why I perfected electricity magic." Evalyn snapped over the sound of water. "You will die by my hands, my dear cousin!"
Juvia fell to her knees, her chest heaving as her palms pressed against the ground. She raised her eyes and swallowed, her lips parted as Evalyn raised her hand, three fingers pressed against her palm as her thumb and forefinger pointed towards Juvia.
