Emma's POV
Today I'm getting ankle surgery. Ragan is coming with me so she won't be going to practice today. My mom is driving both of us there and back. We hop in the car and we arrive at the hospital 10 minutes later. I get a room and wait for the doctor. The doctor came in and told me what they was going to happen during my surgery. She used a purple sharpie to mark where they were going to do the surgery. She introduced me to three of the surgeons and the anesthesiologist. After all of that, I get taken to the room where they'll do my surgery. They put a mask on my face and I started counting down from 10. At about number eight, I went to sleep. I woke up and I saw Ragan, my mom, and the doctor. She told my mom how everything went and told Ragan how to care for me while I'm on crutches. I saw that I had a cast on my leg. A few hours after my surgery I got to go home. I sat on the couch and elevated my leg with a few pillows. Ragan sat in the recliner and we both checked our social media and watched TV while we waited for the other girls to get home. Riley and Morgan went to the gym. Jade drove Ashton to her physical therapy for her knee. I feel so bad because lots of elite gymnasts that were supposed to go to the worlds camp are getting injured. Riley, Morgan, Jade, and me are going to the worlds camp. Emma's mom is going to take Emma and Ashton to Worlds two days before USA's qualifying. We leave for the worlds camp in three weeks.
