[Your P.O.V.]
How dare he! That man left me by myself for 3 years when he promised to never leave my side! The 'Great Champion' indeed. I had finally collected all of the Kanto badges and Johto badges, so I trecked up that forsaken mountain to see the one who claimed to love me. Now I stand infront of my boyfriend expecting the mischevious eyes and arrogant air that he had so long ago. "Hey, boyfriend!" I call mockingly. Red turns. His eyes are cold and lifeless, his air of sadness followed. What has happened to him?
He doesn't say a word just stares at the Pokeball in my hand. "I worked so hard to get up here so why not?" I say throwing the Pokeball. Metagross comes out of it in a stream of light, "Meta". Red's Pikachu hops off his shoulder and Red signals for me to take the first move. "Let's go Metagross! Meteor Mash!" I yell. Pikachu and Red must use some sort of telepethy. Pikachu used volt tackle and Red seems pleased with it. Here goes nothing.
[Timeskip because I can]
Red beat me. It's really no surprise, but it hurts just like any other defeat. Red turned around to leave. "Red wait! There is something I have to know first," I yell running to him, "Red why did you leave when you told me you'd stay? Don't you love me anymore?" The only response I receive is a shake of the head. "Red do you even know how to love anymore?" I say sobbing. Another shake of the head. "You can't be the man I love. His eyes were filled with excitement. He was talketive. Where did he go?" I ranted. Silence... "Goodbye love. I'll never forget you. Goodbye... Forever..." I sniffle running down the mountain.
When I finally get home I'm still crying. I flop down on my bed and look at all the pictures of the two of us. I remember the good times. The smiles, the hugs, the tears. I wish he had never left. I wish he had stayed. Why? Why did he have to leave me? Why did the love we had die? Why? Soon sleep overcame me.
That day was the last of a happy me. I never smiled again. Blue decided to go up the mountain and give Red what for, but Red was frozen to death when he got there. 'If he had only been cold on the outside maybe he would still be alive' I decided, 'but nothing could save him from his frozen heart.'
