Poke'boy Oneshots *Requests Closed*

 [Normal P.O.V.]

 One of your friends had invited you to the Sinnoh region for a Contest. Being the girlfriend you were, you dragged your boyfriend along. He didn't really want to go, but you gave him no choice in matter. Cilan sighed as you and Dawn tried on yet another dress. He was stuck in his least favorite place in the world, the shopping mall. "Ladies, if you don't hurry we'll be late," he reminded you, becoming impatient. 

 You walked out of the dressing room to show him the dress you had picked out. It was a knee lenght, [f/c], dress with sparkles throughout. Part of the back was cutout but  laced [like a shoe]. His eyes widened as he looked at you. This was what made the trip worth it for him. "What do you think Cilan?" you asked. "You look stunning!" he exclaimed, then ran up to you admiring the dress and saying 'Cilan-like' things about it. You just giggled and walked back into the dressing room.

 [Timeskip to the Contest]

 You and Dawn had gotten matched up for a contest battle. You were so nervous. Dawn had taught you just about everything you know, so she must know a way around everything. You walked out onto the stage arena and scanned the crowd. You could use a  extra confidence boost about now, and soon enough you found that boost by seeing a certain greenete smiling at you.

 Dawn walked up onto the stage as well, with a confident smile. This was not going to be easy. "Let the Contest Battle commence!" The announcer shouts. Dawn sends out Quilava as her first Pokemon out of two, just as you had anticipated. You sent out Poliwrath and Dawn's smile dropped. Now you had the type advantage, nonetheless, Dawn was going more for appeal than damage. "Flaming Wheel Swift! Then shoot a Swift at Poliwrath from the top!" Dawn ordered. You watched as Quilava formed a fiery tornado with stars mixed in. It was so beautiful, but you didn't get caught up in it, your points dropped a little, but you managed to tell Poliwrath to dodge in time.

 "Poliwrath, use Psychic Bubblebeam!" You yelled to your Pokemon. It released a jet of bubbles and quickly used Psychic on them. They spun in midair for a moment before darting toward Quilava. "Dodge!" Dawn called but it's too late, Quilava was hit. Dawn's points dropped quite a bit as did Quilava's HP, but they weren't giving up any time soon. "Smokescreen!" "Use Water Pulse to clear up the smoke, then use Focus Punch!" The overgrown tadpole cleared away the smoke as ordered but Quilava sent off a desperate Swift as Focus Punch hit, causing a lot of damage. You glanced up at the scoreboard. Dawn was now on her second and last Pokemon, but you were nearly equal in points.

 Dawn then sent out Pachirisu, making your newfound confident grin fade. One hit from Pachirisu and Poliwrath would be out. "Pachirisu, Sparky Kiss now!" Dawn ordered. A new combination, and you knew what it was made of. It would have been wise for Dawn to not have told you the electric squirrel's moveset earlier. Pachirisu used Draining Kiss and used Spark on that. She thought it was foolproof, but you were ready. "Use Psychic to burst the hearts!" Poliwrath did just that. The hearts burst into thousands of pink sparkles with electric currents connecting them. The crowd cheered as the sparkles rained down on you and Poliwrath. Dawns points dropped tremendously. If you could just get them to drop one more time, then... Lightbulb!

 "Poliwrath, use that special combo we were trying last week!" you tell your Pokemon, who was breathing heavily. He nods using Water Pulse and Bubblebeam at nearly the same time then making them encircle Pachirisu with Psychic. The water closed in on the squirrel, but it didn't do much damage. You were about to look at the scoreboard to see if it had done anything when you heard the announcer, "Y/n has won the match!" You jumped for joy and ran up to Dawn to hug her.

 Meanwhile, in the stands...

 Cilan couldn't be prouder of you. There was one more round to go, but he was going to treat you like you had won the Grand Festival, whether you won or lost it. As you and Dawn exited stage left, Cilan listened to a little bit of the conversation the boys in front of him were having. "That Y/n girl sure is pretty!" "Yeah! I wonder if she has a boyfriend." Cilan decides that's his cue to cut in, "She does." "Oh, yeah? How'd you know?" One of the guys asked him. "Because she's my girlfriend." Needless to say they didn't comment on your beauty for the rest of the contest.

 That was truly awful, but it's the second request from Fandomz_Fangirl done! I actually did my research on the Pokemon Moves [as always] and Dawn's Pachirisu and Quilava actually know those moves, and have used most of those combos [some I made up]. Poliwrath can learn all of those moves which are: Water Pulse, BubbleBeam, Psychic, and Focus Punch.
