Instincts-Neko Gladion x Reader

 Requested by the one and only Fandomz_Fangirl! 

 (your pov)

 I walk silently to my best friend's room to check on him. I have been living with Gladion for the past week at his request. Now, let's get this straight, we sleep in different bedrooms. Gladion said that he had been having nightmares that scare him, mostly about his past. If Gladion is willing to admit that something is wrong, it's something big. Every night I check in on him at about midnight. If he's having a nightmare I either rub his back until he calms down in his sleep or wake him. The the case of the latter, he ends up sobbing in my arms until he falls asleep. I really do feel sorry for him.

 Anyway, it's midnight, so time to check on Gladion. I slowly open the door to his room to see him sitting up. I look at him curiously and ask "Is something wrong?" "Somebody snuck into my room and threw a powder of some sort on me. I feel like something isn't right," He explains. I look him over carefully, from ears to tail.... Wait a minute since when are his ears on top of his head? And why does he have a tail? "Gladion... You are right to suspect something," I state bluntly. He tilts his head. "What's wrong Y/n? You look like I've turned into an animal or something," the blonde asks. "Gladi, you're Neko..." I say walking over to and sitting on his bed. I begin to pet him behind the ears. He involuntarily purrs and presses his head closer to my hand.

 We stay like that for a while but my hand wanders down to his fluffy tail and I begin to stroke it. He turns a brilliant red and stutters, " Y-y/n! What are you doing?" "Petting your tail." "Please don't." "Why not?" I ask. Gladion pounces on me, landing directly on top of me. His hands are holding my wrists down to the bed and his warm breath is hitting my face. I'm sure I look like a tamato berry. "Because my cat instincts will take over," he whispers. He lays his forehead gently against mine as I gather my thoughts. This is affection, a sign of love. 

 Knowing in my heart I love him, I turn my head to kiss his cheek. His face lights up like a Christmas Tree so, he buries his head in the crook of my neck in embarrassment. I giggle as he mumbles "I love you" into my skin. "I love you too Gladion!"

 (An hour later)

 "Gladion, I have to go to bed! I'm tired, so are you and you have work tomorrow," I tell my Neko (now) boyfriend. "No. Please stay. We can cuddle!" He pleads, pulling me closer to him. "Fiiiine!" I say, finally done with arguing with Gladion. "Yes!" He cheers.

 How was it?

 I have closed requests for now. I have no idea when I'll open them again. I'll complete the ones that have already been requested, but I want to write another fanfic book, so I'm going to need the extra time. Guess what character the book's about and I'll give you a shout out in it!
