Friday, August 18th

My eyes slowly open, the light shines in my eyes so I turn over to see gray laying in bed on his laptop.

I sit up but use the sheets to cover my bare body.

"What you looking at?" I ask as I rub my eyes.

He smiles and looks at me "goodmorning sleeping beauty"  (he always calls me that when I sleep late)

"What? What time is it?"

"It's 2, I have to go to work in an hour"

"Do you have to go" I pout

"Yes. It's my duty" he jokes as he looks back at his computer

"Whatever officer grayson" we giggle.

I put on his shirt and get out of bed.

"I'm looking at houses by the way"

I just smile and walk out of the room. I love him so god damn much. I go into the kitchen to make coffee and his lunch for work.

I really hope last night was the night, we really want a baby. Gray and I are very ready for the next step in our relationship. In 16 days, we are getting married. I'm finally going to get to marry my best friend, my soulmate.

I cut up some fruit for his lunch and I make him a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. [ catfish, pizza, peanut butter and jelly 😂😂 ]

I put it all in a lunch bag then grab two mugs and pour coffee, sugar and milk in them.

"Hey babe?"

"Yeah?" I turn around and put his mug in the table as he puts his laptop next to it.

"I think I found the perfect place"

"Already?" I take a sip of my coffee and go over to him.

He puts his arm around me. "It's a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1 floor house. It has a full kitchen and living room, an inground pool and a porch. You always said you want a porch so we can sit outside in the pouring rain. Oh and also a garage" he smiles, loving this house

"This sounds perfect" I smile "How much?"

"250,000 dollars"

I choke on my coffee "GRAY, we can't afford that!"

He sighs "you're right. We can't afford it because I already bought it"

My face lights up as he smirks. "GRAY! YOUR KIDDING!" I say in shock with my smile growing larger and larger.

He shows me his computer. "We have a house" he smiles ear to ear

"We have a house!" I repeat and hug him tightly.

He holds me close "this is it babe..." he whispers.

I close my eyes, not wanting to let go.

*flashback

I stand there looking at myself in the bathroom mirror. I tap my finger nervously on the counter as I wait for the results.

The timer on my phone finally goes off. This is the moment of truth. I turn to see gray sitting on our bed shaking his leg.

"Gray..."

He gets up quickly and comes to stand next to me. He holds my hand. We look at eachother and we both take deep breaths. I pick up the stick that layed on the counter.
