🌼 *makes a mistake with blocking or lines* forever an inside joke
🌼 Waiting For cast list to be posted = eternity
🌼 *throw on old show shirt* instantly remember blocking and lines
🌼 *ripped guy walks by shirtless* - what ever * talented guy songs* - oh my god it's love
🌼 *don't get into musical* never listen to audition song again
🌼 only feeling like yourself when pretending to be someone else
🌼 *whole cast finds one line funny* audience doesn't laugh
🌼 *cast as small part in show* interpretive dances to every song back stage
🌼 "what's your dream role?" *pulls out massively long list*
🌼 you save the programs to every show you've been to
🌼 it's not "play practice" it's called "rehearsal"
🌼 has cried to cast recordings
🌼 backstage: shy girl won't talk.... onstage: girl get off my runway!
🌼 having a mini panic attack for a second thinking you miss your cue
🌼 every word triggers a musical number
🌼 trying not to fangirl when listening to show tunes in public
🌼 stepping onto stage again and remembering why it's your favorite feeling in the world
🌼 not wearing makeup normally, but can put it on perfectly
🌼 conflict between wearing clothes you can dance in and looking cute at rehearsal
🌼 seeing a professional show and thinking, "I'm going to be there someday!"
🌼 rereading old playbills because you're showsick
🌼 it's theatRE not theatER!!
🌼 being home alone means singing show tunes at the top of your longs and acting them out
🌼 after a while being incapable of listening to anything besides showtunes
🌼 you think sports are competitive? Welcome to the theatre world
🌼 if you can see the audience, the audience can see you
🌼 the awkward tip toe run you do backstage
🌼 the shower is your own personal rehearsal space
🌼 never knowing if you're talented enough to make a career out of what you love
🌼 "oh yeah I'd be happy with any role..." LIES
