TRIS POV
I wake up with a jump when I hear the door close. I see someone walking towards me. My heart is racing. My vision is blurry. Whoever it is, they are wearing all black and... a ski mask?
"You deserve this!" a woman says. After she says that I get punched in the stomach and face.
"H...help!" I barely say. I groan in pain. Who is this! My vision is getting blurry again.
Tobias opens the door with the food in his hands and places it on the chair. I see him running and he rips the woman off of me.
"Get off of me!" The woman says. The voice sounds familiar. I mumble a few words but no one can hear me.
I look over and the girl is passed out in a chair.
Tobias runs up to me. He grabs my hand and checks my pulse. I blink a few times and wiggle my fingers.
He smiles and presses a few buttons. He looks at a paper and types in 91122
What does that mean?
I don't know.
My eyes are getting heavy. Tobias squeezes my hand and slaps my arm. He's trying to keep me awake. It's not working.
Please. Let me live!
I can't leave him.
