Tobias POV:

"It's been a week since that and we still haven't told Kayla." Tris says, clearly frustrated about the drawing she's making.

"Well, we can tell her after your appointment?" I say, more as a question. She raises an eyebrow. "When is that anyways?"

"Oh my Dauntless cake! I forgot I have an appointment! Toby! It's in 30 minutes!" She scrambles around the room, getting various clothes on. She throws her hair into a bun and shrugs.

"Kayla come here." I say and she walks over. I put her on my back and open the door. "Let's go to Aunty Christina!" I say with fake enthusiasm. She squeals and Tris and I roll our eyes.

I sprint her to Christina's house, knocking like ten times. She opens the door and squeals. "Little Ten!" I run my ear and hand her Kayla.

"Not even asking so take her gotta go bye." And I sprint away. I hear the door shut and I find Tris wobbling down the hallway.

"Swollen feet?" She nods. I chuckle a bit and carry her the rest if the way to the infirmary.

"Tris Prior?" The nurse calls. We stand up, and walk into the room.

"So how are you Tris?" The nurse asks as she sits down.

"I'm fine I guess." She smiles a bit. "So...what are we doing today?"

"You are going to have an ultrasound- we want to check on the growth of your baby." Tris nods and lays down. She lifts up her shirt and sighs a bit.

The nurse puts the gel on, and Tris makes a sound, that makes me laugh. She glares at me, but ends up smiling too.

"So Tris, hears your baby's fingers..." The nurse moves the camera around some. "And here is its foot." I smile a little, and squeeze Tris' hand. She squeezes back.

"Here is a rag to wipe off the gel, keep taking care of yourself. We don't want anything to happen to the baby." She nods a little and sighs.

"This is so much work." Tris says quietly, as she wipes off the gel on her.

"Don't worry" I say. "I love you."
