Karen
After namin mag ayos, we went home already to dress up.
Pagpasok namin ng gate, I saw an unfamiliar face and a videocam with stand. So I wondered who was that... "Oh, andyan na pala sila," I didn't put my attention on who's voice was that.
Now I remembered, may ni-hire pala si mama na videographer for my graduation day. I greeted that man, "Hello po," smiling but shyly. Umilling lang din siya saakin and smiled. Pumasok ako sa room ko to dress up. We are already starting to get ready, after how many minutes, the service fetch us to the school.
"Buti na lang at di pa ako late." I already saw numerous students forming a line with their parents. I immediately went to the back stage para sumilip kung saan kami uupo later. After that I already went to the back aisle. I will be the first one to march with my classmate Jenson Aiden Casido with our respective parents.
Naghanda na ang lahat. A few minutes, the walking march began. It took more than ten minutes until all of us 400 plus students were at our respective seats.
"To our dearest guests for today, parents, teachers, graduates, ladies and gentlemen, a good afternoon to all" - emcee
"To formally start this momentous event, let us now call Julia Ava Solomon, for her welcome remarks. A round of applause please."
The event had started. Following the programme, after 1 and a half hour, the medals were awarded to the honorees and those who has special awards and the giving of diploma to all the graduates. Expecting to receive the following: With High Honor, Proficiency in English and ArPan , Leadership Award and my envelope of diploma. And with my mother and grandma together, went up on the stage to hang the medals.
I was so excited that after the pledge I will be the one to talk in front of people, with the visitors listening and I am more than grateful this day and indeed a momentous event. As I held the mic and stood up in front,
After all those days of wondering, wondering if we would make it to the end, finally, here we are at this very moment that marks the summit of our journey.
Today features another milestone in the lives of graduating pupils like us. It is the day to celebrate and it is a day to mourn. A celebration because after 6 long years of acquiring our basic education, we are now ready to move one step higher in the ladder of our quest to greater level of educational heights. Today is a mournful day because we are now leaving the portals of our Alma Mater which cradled us when we were still little young boys and girls wanting to be involved in the daily school activities.
Indeed, the greatest intelligence is precisely the one that suffers most from its own limitation. To be where I am now is a great accomplishment not just of me but of the people who believed in my capabilities. I am indeed privileged to stand before you and share how I and my fellow graduates feel today about our success. I must say that the challenges I met to claim my success this day was never easy.
I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to all the teachers and mentors we've had in life. Thank you for using your precious time and wisdom for me and for all. You are the candles that light the way. You help us on our way to success. I believe that we're a better person now.
To my classmates and friends who have been my brothers and sisters in this institution for several years, thank you for the camaraderie, friendship and the wonderful learning experiences we have shared together. To my parents and family, a great "thank you" from my heart for all the immeasurable love, care, time, effort and discipline you are providing and building for me. I hope that I made you happy today.
Above all, to God almighty, we offer this accomplishment to you; you are the ultimate source of our wisdom and strength. To all of you present here, we value so much your presence, making this closing exercise truly memorable. To my fellow graduates, the end of our elementary years is just a beginning of self-discovery and greater heights. As we leave the fortress of our haven our learning, let us continue the good work! Let us build a nation and a future with hope! Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit to the lord whatever you do and your plans will succeed."
Once again, congratulations to all of us. Thank you very much and better afternoon.
All of the people present and the whole covered court was covered by silence as i stood up in front. This serenity made all our minds clear. Even we carried out our competitiveness for years, each of us now accepted and our accomplishments led us to what we deserve and what we are today.
There we go, the picture taking of each sections. My mom prepared some food for snacks for me and my close friends.
Alone sitting while looking at my classmates. Dena, one of them invited me to take a picture with Driel, as requested by him, and since last day naman na to ay agad akong umiling. As part of his ang my memories, even were not talking to each other. It was quite awkward but I did my best in adjusting all.Hindi nagtagal ay umuwi na din kami kasama ang family ko and my cousin's.
NARR.
Even there is something or someone that may hinder our way to success. God will always find time what will happen, how will it be happening and when and where it will be happening. Karen's journey will still not end there. The end here is just the beginning of all ups and downs that cannot say whether it will have a good outcome or not
