Part Six: Could not be True Enough

"You've met Gene.... Gene will end the first chapter of your life...."

"What!? What does that mean!? He's going to kill me!?" I grip the side of my arm.

"Your case is similar to one that happened not long ago, where a hybrid caused great depression and anguish among the kingdoms...."

"How is Gene any different from me? I-... he's a hybrid, I'm not...." Jeez this is like a confession booth, am I a Hybrid?

"The Hybrid was a great sorcerer that could harness Air and Fire Magics.... he killed Gene's mother."

"..... I could never do something like that."

"Ahh... but you will." The girl dissapears once again, and I see myself holding a ball of swirling air in one hand and a fire ball in the other. I touch the mirror and I see Gene holding a sword of ice with white fire surrounding it.

"I- I hardly know Gene! Why are we fighting??" I watch intensely, waiting for the scene to continue, but it doesn't.

The girl reappears, "You will do many things Whistler, but the point is, you cannot escape the facts or your destiny. Cherish your moments with Rider, cherish your moments with your mother, cherish your moments in Elementatia."

The girl dissapears and I see the room materialize around me, I'm back. I see the others behind the green glass and it's as if no time passed.

"WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?!" I shout at the mirror, and after getting no response, I punch it so hard it breaks.

And through the broken mirror, I see the girl smile and step out.

"Your distruction starts here, Wind Whistler."

She dissapears.
