>Air Elementals traditionally go by their second name to strangers and in professional situations, though close friends and family can call them by their first name or nicknames like Whistler's name for Dust Rider: Dusty. There are some exceptions to this of course, Royalty traditionally go by their first names to subjects and to eachother, and Air Elementals don't like calling other Elementals by their second names unless they insist on it.

>All Air Elementals have to pass a test at age fifteen called "Flight EE" or "Flight Extra Extraordinary", though every year starting at age eight, they take flight exams to test and see if they need extra flight classes or one on one flight tutoring.

>In Air Elemental culture it's both good luck and a form of remembering to write two vertical lines on your wrist. This is the sign of the luck god Darius who has two heads.
