Stepping into the oval room I immediately walked over to the large wooden desk that lay in front of a window. Coming to stand in front of it I dropped my papers down on the top with a loud plop.

“Red Sapphire.” An amused voice purred from behind the chair. I raised a curious eyebrow at the voice. The grand chair that lay behind the desk slowly started turning around. Once it stopped in front of me I wasn’t fazed to see that it wasn’t my boss who sat in it.

“Alfred.” I responded in a business like tone. His serious face broke down then, turning into that of a child.

“Aw Kitty! Don’t be so formal. Stop acting older than me.” He pouted, his lip puffed out. I didn’t bat an eyelash at him the entire time.

“Yes sir,” I said. He let out a loud huff before hopping out of the plush chair and coming over to stand next to me. “Where is the boss? I need to present the information I have gathered to him.” I explained in a neutral tone, motioning to the pile of papers that lay on the desk. He waved his hand dismissively before casually knocking all of the files onto the floor. My business façade broke then.

“Alfred you ass hole!” I exclaimed as I stared at him wide eyed. “What was that for?!” His face lit up then.

“Finally!” He cheered with a fist pump. I rolled my eyes as I crouched down and started picking up the papers that were scattered across the floor.

“You don’t need to do that.” He said. I stopped my work to peer up at him curiously. Shooting me a mischievous grin he leaned against the desk.

“Any why is that?”

“Because you’ve got another mission Kitty.”

“Stop calling me Kitty.” I demanded as I stood back up and straightened my skirt. Pushing my glasses further up my head I stared him straight in the eyes.

I first met this idiot when I joined the most elite force in America. It is even more elite than The Delta Force. I was underestimated and pushed around at first but there was this one man who always kept encouraging me, Alfred. We became friends after that and he taught me how everything ran around here. After a while I climbed to the top, pretty good for a laky who didn’t know shit. That’s when I was told the truth about the countries. Our relationship became slightly tense after that but I wouldn’t be able to hold my business attitude for long around him.

“Not gonna happen, Kitty.” He smirked as he said the last word and I stuck my tongue out at him.

“You irk me.” I puffed my cheeks out and he mockingly imitated me. A small laugh escaped my lips then and him the same. After recovering he handed me a sheet of paper. I cocked my head to the side.

“It’s your new mission.” He said plainly, a bit of sadness seeping into his voice. I looked up at him, staring into his bright blue eyes before returning my gaze down to the paper that lay in my hand. On the top it read one word in large, bold letters.

“You’re going to Germany.”
