It was night time, the trainees were about to leave the practice room.

But one person stayed back.

Yang Jeongin.

"Maknae, aren't you going back to the dorm?" Seungmin asked him. Others looked back at him.

Jeongin shook his head. "Our showcase is just a few days away. I'll practice." Chan felt guilty but stayed silent.

Jeongin had been quiet and awkward with everyone lately.

He has been skipping dinner, lunch, breakfast. The trainees forced him, but he ends up eating in his room. Everyone wondered.

On the other hand, Chan knew it was his fault.

"Its 8.00, we should head back." Seungmin almost wanted to force him.

"I think I'll come back at 10.00, don't do anything more. Just leave me here." Jeongin smiled while tying his shoelaces.

"Guys, I'll stay with him. Go home." Seungmin said. The others nodded.

Seungmin noticed Chan's expression. "Don't worry, I'll talk about it to him." Seungmin smiled.

Jeongin saw Chan's expression. Jeongin didn't want to worry his hyung.

Jeongin felt ashamed of himself, but he has to do it; to not lack. After the trainees left, Seungmin walked towards Jeongin.

"What are you doi-" Seungmin cut Jeongin.

"I am staying here with you, so no denying." Seungmin sat down while looking at his phone.

Jeongin just rolled his eyes and turned on the music.

-

Jeongin has been practicing non stop.

Once the song finishes, he would just continue. He didn't take a break.

"Need to practice." Jeongin whispered himself.

Jeongin was sweating badly. Even his back was soaked. Seungmin was sick of seeing him acting like this.

Jeongin suddenly became unconscious.

Seungmin immediately ran towards the maknae laying his head on his lap.

"N-need to practice." Jeongin continued saying while slowly standing up.

"Kumanhe! WHAT HAS BEEN GOING ON WITH YOU LATELY?" Seungmin asked him to sit down.

Everyone was silent. It was just the sound of the fan.

Jeongin broke the silence. Jeongin suddenly wiped his sweat.

"I need to work hard. To debut."

"Why over work yourself?"

"Chan-hyung, said I am lacking."

"You are not lacking, why would he be mad at you?"

"Hm?"

"He is like that, he has been a trainee for a long time. He wants to debut with all of us by his side. That's why, he holds responsibility as a leader."

Jeongin suddenly smiled.

He laid on the floor. "I am so stupid." Jeongin chuckled cutely, showing his braces.

"All of us are." Seungmin chuckled while laying down beside him.

"Don't overwork yourself. The members don't like to see you like this."

After that, Jeongin arrived at the dorm with Seungmin.

Everyone was asleep. "They made ramen, let's eat and head to bed."

-

Jeongin was the last to come out the room to eat breakfast. The members prepared a special seat for him.

He just sat down slowly. The trainees were giving glances towards each other.

"Maknae-ah, sorry." Chan looked at Jeongin.

"Sorry for pushing you. That was self centered of me."

Chan looked down and so did the others. "Its fine, I did mistakes myself." Jeongin shrugged.

"You should rest, your ankle should heal." Jeongin froze. Minho told stories about his ankle while he was asleep.

"It was the right thing, paboyah." Chan ruffled his hair.

Jeongin was relieved that the past had settled.

But his childhood past hasn't been settled.

FLASHBACK

"Eomma, where is Byung?" Jeongin pulled his mother's shirt to make her look at him. She faced down to see Jeongin pouting with his puppy eyes.

Byung hasn't come back in years. Jeongin did some research, his hyung was suppose to come back during the holidays.

But he hasn't come.

That makes little Jeongin wonder.

Jeongin wanted by to surprise his hyung with a cake he made. A butter cake, Byung-ngie likes it.

Jeongin would wait at the door until he arrives.

He hopes, waits.

Waits.

Waits.

But he never showed up.

His mother knew it was time for her to tell the truth.

"Jeongie, Byung-ngie. He went away for a while with his friends." his mother gave a pat at the shoulder.

"When is he coming back?"

"I don't know, but lets just hope he comes back. I haven't heard from him."

Jeongin stared outside the window. He wondered.

Deep in thoughts.

Because he knew,

That he could never trust his mother's word.

Because he knew,

That it isn't true.

END OF FLASHBACK

"Now, I am still wondering about the world."
