2| Will

Jeongin woke up. Today, the trainees were going to practice the showcase song. "Hyungmin, iroena." Jeongin slowly shook his hyung who was in a deep sleep.

"Give me an hour." Seungmin said while covering himself with his fluffy blanket.

Jeongin just smiled and showered first.

"The song is by H.O.T. A great song!" Woojin said. Jeongin was familiar with that song. His brother would always listen to this with him.

FLASHBACK

"Byung, where are you going?" a 12-year old Jeongin asked Byung while he was running around the room.

"I am going overseas, for my s-study. Dongsaeng, don't tell appa, or eomma." Byung hugged his brother tightly.

"I am going to miss you, eomma will be proud of you for studying." Jeongin saluted towards him.

Little did he know, when Byung walked out from the door, he would never see him again.

END OF FLASHBACK

"So, let's try the choreo." Chan stood up. After hours of practicing, we took a break.

"Hyung, I left my water bottle in the car. Wait, here." Jeongin said. The trainees nodded. The elevator was about to close, Jeongin quickly ran.

Suddenly; Jeongin's foot got stuck.

The door closed.

The only thing Jeongin could do was scream.

His ankle was broken.

He was on the ground. With all his strength, he opened the door.

He got out from the elevator.

"Ugh." Jeongin whispered under his breath.

Suddenly, Minho heard his screaming as he was going to the bathroom.

"Jeongin! What happened?" Minho ran towards him.

"Hyung, don't tell anyone. Jebal-" Jeongin couldn't finish his sentence. He was in pain.

"O-okay, your secret is safe with me. But, what if you can't practice?" Minho panicked.

"I can, have faith in me." Jeongin faked a smile. Minho just helped him stand up.

Jeongin wanted to be a real man, he didn't want to seem weak in front of the trainees.

They entered the room.

"Kaja, let's practice." everyone stood up. Minho just gave a pat on the shoulder.

Jeongin took a deep breath.

"Hwaiting." he thought to himself.

It is the 5th time Jeongin made the same mistake.

Chan faked a smile.

Chan couldn't take it no more.

"Take five." Chan gave a stare at Jeongin.

Jeongin gulped. He is dead, inside.

"Jeongin, come here." Chan pointed with his fingers.

"How much mistakes did you do?" Chan said with his arms at his hips.

"I- I." Jeongin couldn't say anything.

He was scared.

To be scolded.

Minho gave a sympathetic look towards him.

"Tell him." Minho mouthed. Jeongin just ignored.

"Tell me!" Chan stomped his feet.

"They will not look at you only, but us as a group!"

"Dont think about us first, look at you."

"Jebal, there is another girl group competing with us."

"So, improve yourself."

"You are lacking in many things."

"Don't make us sad, our fans sad."

"Your parents disappointed."

"Being a trainee is hard, but what about an idol?"

Jeongin was hurt. He knew, maybe he should turn around.

But Jeongin has hope.

That things will be better in the future.

His eyes were teary.

Remembering his past.

FLASHBACK

Jeongin was practicing his lines.

He was entering a singing competition. He was excited.

Until someone ripped his sheets apart.

Jeongin was a victim of bully.

"Boeya? You think you can be an idol? Oh, please." the girls laughed.

"Look at you, messed up hair, untucked-in shirt. Disgusting!"

Jeongin picked up his sheets. But the girls didn't stop him.

But instead, they stomped their feet on his hands. His hands had bruises. His clothes were in mud.

Jeongin jumped and burst in tears. He cried out loud.

"Hey, stop it!" a girl screamed. She was a prefect. The group of girls ran away. "Gechana?" the girl help him stood up.

"I don't think I can achieve my dreams." Jeongin wiped his tears.

"Don't think like that! Don't listen to them. Just work hard and you will make it big!"

Her voice still echoed through his mind.

He needed to change himself.

"I need to be good enough for the world."
